The bed was uncomfortable. The water from the shower leaked all over the bathroom. I asked for them to fix it, but they didn’t nor they offered to change my room.

We were lucky to stay at Goreme Kaya Hotel while we were in Goreme. The hotel is well known to locals/taxi so that tells you enough about its repuation. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. They have a wonderful restaurant with reasonable prices and delicious food. The free breakfast we got with our stay was well worth it. Walking distance to other restaurants was also reasonable, about a 5 minute walk away. The hotel also gave us a breakfast after checkout which was really nice considering we had an early flight that day. The only thing that was not ideal was the floors in the hallway of the second floor. They were not even and we almost tripped a couple times. But other than that, we have nothing to complain about.

Excelente ubicación para ver los globos a las 6:30 am. Se ven desde el despegue y algunos llegan prácticamente hasta la terraza del hotel . Muy buenas fotos. Amplio, limpio y bien mantenido. Buen servicio y desayuno enorme .

We hardly liked anything about this hotel besides its location!! Inexperienced staff, sometimes rude with no sufficient English fluency. Poor customer service at the reception desk and at the restaurant. Mediocre food quality at high price. Bed sheets and pillows have stains. Bathtub leaks water into the floor. Dirty carpet in the hallways leading to the rooms. Some hallways move under your feet with squeaky noise. Finally a cat will follow you to your room!!

The construction of the hotel in a cave is a unique feature. The scenic views of the caves from the hotel is magnificent.

This hotel was amazing! The room and view were so beautiful. The staff went out of their way to help us celebrate our 2 year anniversary, and they were always so kind and helpful. The breakfast with traditional Turkish food was delicious. The wifi was not the greatest, but we were outside a majority of the time, so it was not a dealbreaker for us. We enjoyed our stay so much and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Everything here was great, fortunately we have got free upgrade to their best suites in the hotel. You can literally book every attraction in the area right at the front desk. Spa was incredible, staff is very friendly and breakfast was delicious.

I would give this property 10 stars out of five. Location is excellent, walking distance to all restaurants, and the best of all is the customer guest relations director Miss. Sehriban. She was communicating before the trip, telling us of things we can do, balloon rides etc. She made our stay so easy, right from organisizing a shuttle pickup and drop off to airport, and the tours. Always smiling, making last minute changes without any fuss. The Included Breakfast was amazing too. Made to order eggs and the best bread. We stayed in the non cave room. I would heartily recommend this place. Once again Miss Sehriban was in constant communication with us and made us so much more comfortable in taking the trip

This place was fantastic. I would tell or explain if something wasn’t right but, everything was spot on. Beautiful hotel with amazing views, I loved the interior design and how it resembled caves - rooms very spacious and we were lucky we had a terrace so we got to see the hot air balloons every morning from our room!

Good hotel but breakfast could be much better. Staff doesn't ask if you want an omelette or anything else. Also they serve fruits but you will have to pay for it.. At night time there are a lot of dogs barking so sleep is also an issue at times.

I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. The surrounding area that the hotel is located in is simply stunning, I just couldn't get enough of the views. Having breakfast with the amazing views was a real treat. The hotel is also stylish with nice decor. The service was very speedy. The location is ideal and very close to all the restaurants and the coffee shops.

One of the best places to stay in Goreme
The hotel has excellent views. It was amazing to watch the baloons every morning from restaurant balcony. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

Solid value and pleasant experience at kaya hotel
Nice boutique hotel in goreme. The location is private as it's at the end of a main road, so a bit quieter then other places. The staff was very welcoming, sent drinks and fruit upon our arrival. The rooms have nice views, a bit smaller, but we had a private balcony which was great. The AC in one room had issues cooling the room, while our other room worked well. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. They have a nice pool indoors, it was closed for a few days of our stay but we were able to enjoy on our last day. Breakfast was solid, they will prepare eggs to your liking. Nice outdoor seating and views. Overall, I'd recommend staying here, good value and service.

Bathtub leaked a RIVER. The light level is awful. On our check out date they gave our room to an other guest. He literally opened the door when we were still inside. The hadn’t even sent the cleaning staff and they had already gave the room to some one else

Dear Guest, First of all, we apologize for the bad experiences you had. But if we can explain the subject you mentioned; When we check the bathtub after your check out there is no problem within technical. Since our bathrooms are half-shower cabin, sometimes such situations may occur after use. When you had this problem if you make mention of this we can give the cleaning services, two or three times for your room. Since we are original cave and stone hotel concept our all the lıght level already design for the cave ambience. Although our room check-out time 12:00 o’clock you use the room without any information and because when we couldn’t reach you we sent a staff member to your room to check and you thought he was another guest. As you can see for your all holiday time in our hotel we are certainly not given any dirty room for our guest. Despite the conversation we had with you during the check-out with this comment you made upset all our colleagues. Our entire goal is for you to leave our hotel satisfied and happy. Although, we hope to welcome you in our hotel again on your next trip to Cappadocia. Regards, Ms. Şehriban İnce

Excellent and hospitable staff. Perfectly located hotel, next to some excellent rock formations and caves This is the perfect hotel close enough to walk to town but far enough that it does not get noisy. Staff were very kind and accommodating and even arranged return airport shuttle for me. Thank you!

My visit was out of season, and also during the pandemic with local lockdown rules in place. But hotel had implemented safety precautions which was adhered too. Rooms were of a good size and clean. For me I like to make coffee in the room but there was no facility for this. However staff were happy to provide hot water in my flask. Evening meals were very limited but I put this down to time of year and number of visitors. Location was perfect for walking into the town. Overall I would stay again hopefully then everything would be in full swing.

It was better than i expected, very big and beautiful hotel, the bedroom was perfect, very confortable and big, close to everything, all of the staff are really kind, specially the women receptionists and the rest waitress, By the way, we loved the breakfast and the night buffet, very good quality, we will definetely comeback soon.

Don’t be mislead or trapped with the images
I booked the hotel 3 nights. It was expected to be one of the best as the price tells. When I first arrived, the lady offered a different room from That I booked and very dark, when I asked for a different room, she gave a room with a twin bed while in my reservation it was clearly mentioned that it is a large bed. WiFi was a whole story by itself, it never worked at all, and when I asked her she tried to lie on many occasions: saying they are fixing it maybe when you come back from dinner which was a big lie repeated again and again. The problem is that this village is a dead place where you can not buy a SIM card and work. Everyone said it is in the other big city 25 km away. Cleaning was a different story, they never took the garbage, cleaned the room or changed the covers all during the four days of my stay.

We are very sorry that you are not happy with your experience in Cappadocia and would like to point out some of the issues you mentioned. On your second day when you mentioned you wanted to change your room because the room was dark, we were happy to show you other available rooms and change your room. Because some guests can find cave hotels a little dark as yourself. The room had a French bed and a single bed. It is true that there was an extra single bed in the room but you didn’t mention that you didn’t want it in the room. The room was spacious enough and you had one French bed in the room so I am sorry that we didn’t move that extra one. As for the internet connection, I am happy to inform you that it has been solved. Since it was already solved on your departure day I believe you can see that it wasn’t a lie when my colleague said we are trying to solve the problem with wi-fi. I am sorry that you thought it was a lie at the first place. Last but not least after Covid-19 we had to have some precautions. The information in rooms states that there are no daily service during the stay unless the guest specifically ask for it. As well as written information is available in the rooms we inform our guests on arrival about it just like we explained it to you. I am sorry that you couldn’t find time to read the information in the room. Once again thank you very much for sharing your feedback and we hope to welcome you again so that you can witness mentioned information as correct by yourself.
