Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing. Very clean hotel. They helped us by having our luggage transferred to the Funaculore at check out. Great location close to all amenities and sites. We had a wonderful time.

We stayed for 2 night and regret that we didn’t stay for more! We knew that the prices for hotels in Capri were going to be high but La Residenza Capri was worth every euro. Fabio, Pepe and team were warm welcoming and took care of us. It was all the little details that the property & staff does to make it amazing. From the walk through of the room, fresh honeycomb at breakfast to the friendly smiles of all the staff. We absolutely loved our stay, and cannot wait to come back!

Hotel was in a great location around the corner from the designer stores. Quiet section of the Piazza, Augustus gardens 5 min walk. Pepe and Giuseppe were very helpful. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting Capri.

5 Star Service, Room, View and location!
We only stayed one night but the service we experienced felt like we had been there a month. They were able to accomodate both an early check-in and a late check-out, even watching our bags and letting us explore the island after we had checked out. After we went swimming in the Blue Grotto, we were sticky from the salt water and they let us shower when we returned to pick up our bags. We stayed in a suite which was well worth the extra money for one night. Great location, great view, great room!

Oh my gosh. This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly & always accommodating! Breakfast had a wide variety options from meat & cheeses to yogurt & cereal to fruit & pastries, they also had gluten free options! There is also a laundry service available if you need it, kind of pricey but its there and my clothes came back smelling fresh & neatly pressed and/or folded. The location is perfect. 5 minutes from the main piazza, near the Via Krupp and streets full of shops, but also tucked off the road far enough so that you feel like you’re far away from the busy-ness. THE VIEW. UGH. It’s amazing from the tanning area, restaurant, and suites with views! When we arrived, we had been upgraded from a standard suite without a view to a deluxe suite with a view. The view brought me to tears. It looks East/southeast of the island over the waters past Marina Piccolo. Breathtaking honestly. The windows were equipped with automatic shades that blocked the sunlight (because sunrise starts at 5AM & is very bright). The pictures online don’t do the hotel justice as the bathroom and room were very nice, clean, and fairly up to date. Lots of outlets all around the room, which is a rarity in Europe. If you arrive by ferry, there will be someone waiting for you to get off of the ferry and will take your luggage to the hotel for you for a charge of 13€ - 100% worth it. If you’re staying in Capri, you have to stay at Hotel La Residenza. It’s just too perfect for the price.

Not the best service
I am Italian and I know that Italy is not the best place for service and modern infrastructure compared to other places in the world. The Hotel is very central clean and we actually slept like babies - room perfectly silent. In 4 days of our stay we could not get wifi working in our iPhones and MacBooks. I had to do some important work , and I had to go to a restaurant to do it.

The location was excellent in the heart of town. The hotel was overall nice and staff were very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was very good. My only recommendation is that the hotel fix the bathroom. The toilet works fine, but the toilet needs a p-trap as there was a less than pleasant smell due to the plumbing configuration.
