Visit to wales

A beautiful country house hotel though looking a bit tired. The room was very comfortable (a huge bed), though perhaps the hiusekeeping service could have been a bit more meticulous. (A quick hoover to scoop up crumbs etc might have been nice to go with straightening the bed - though it was a Bank Holiday weekend).
Our room had a great bath, but it took over 20 mins. to fill. Pressure very low.
It had an excellent Indian restaurant at the back which served a splendid buffet meal (at weekends) for £10. Very good value, and it was interesting that there were several Indian families in attendance - always a good sign!!
One disappointment was that reception did not mention that we could claim 'Nectar' points on our bill - and we do wonder if we can claim them retrospectively.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Very reasonable terms
