Well situated hotel, quiet but well positionedPosted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: Comfort and position within walking distance of major shopping areas and the Castle.
Cons: The one sour note was the 10% service charge added to the restaurant bill followed by a space for gratuities.
Location: Shopping ,bars, night clubs good restaurants all within a few hundred yards.
ADD TO ABOVE AS COLUMN NOT ACCEPTING REVIEW... for both the city centre and great shopping area. Good reception and great executive room with spacious bathroom and Californian King bed.also welcome was the complimentary bottled water and wine.

Overnight stay in Cardiff city centrePosted Oct 1, 2015
Friendly and welcoming staff. Quick check in, clean and tidy room close to the new theatre (where we were seeing a show). Would stay there again.

In Cardiff for Wales' first Rugby World Cup matchPosted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: The room, bar and restaurant, the pleasant, attentive and helpful staff - and its city centre location.
Cons: Clearer guidance about the parking arrangements, which are convenient and acceptable once you are told how it works, but a little stressful on arrival
Would have been excellent, if only we weren't in a room directly opposite five nightclubs, which were open and very noisy until 3am. If this is something that bothers you, then ask for a quiet room away from the front of the hotel when you book!

Excellent in all areas.Posted Sep 2, 2015
My husband and I had a very comfortable room. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Restaurant food was mouth-watering lay memorable. Try the welsh lamb! The reception staff were very helpful. We would recommend this hotel to our friends. I enclose photo of my grandparents house in Ninian Park. It's opposite Roath Park which is beautiful, large lake, cafe, tennis, bowling, etc.

Excellent Central hotelPosted Aug 6, 2015
Pros: Location and comfort
Cons: Outside appearance a bit dowdy - but it is the inside that is more important.
Location: Central, near shoos, Castle and University - also near bus stop for the Bay.
Very good location, parking close to hotel. Easy walk to University, shops and Castle. Quiet and spacious room with very comfortable bed. Friendly and knowledgable staff. We hope to stay another time - preferably when the weather is better.
