The place is noisy. The place is old but clean the staff was nice. The road is close and noisy place some of the guests stayed up partying in the parking lot.

The room size was good as we were traveling with a pet. The ice maker was always full which meant one less stop on the way out of town. Our room was close to the office, so it was close to the street, which was also the main highway through town. Rooms farther back wouldn't have bee so noisy.

It was available on just a few hours' notice, via Expedia, when many other properties in the area were all full. The reception desk was open to meet us when we arrived at midnight. Comfortable motel-style accommodations, bathrooms recently renovated. Good blackout curtains to keep the room dark even when it was light outside.

I don't understand why the outside of the motel was so ugly and unkempt. Why not at least try to make it nice by pulling up that curled and worn carpet? The traffic noise was horrific.

Our original room was very small. There was hardly room to walk around the queen size bed. The entire room is very outdated. There were long, dark hairs all over in the bathroom. The entire room needed cleaning. I will compliment management in that, when I complained we were moved to a nice room downstairs for the 2nd night

Had a very strong smell. Moulding around tub was coming off. Some sort of lotion on the wall of the bathroom. And some brown splatters above the garbage can in the main room. Just seemed like it wasnt thoroughly cleaned and the mell was intense

Typical 2 star motel
My stay was fine, nothing exciting about the place. Nothing bad, nothing great. Typical cinder-block rooms, which I like because they are super quiet and usually quite large (as this one was--picture accompanying the review is accurate). Frequented by various types of male workers, though, so giant trucks and there was a fight (shoving and yelling) outside my door at 11 pm. Had microwave and fridge and ok bathroom--could use an update, but everything else was good (nice sheets/bedding/pillows).

Visually, the vibe is like me on a Saturday morning when I plan to do yard work and before I've had coffee. I'm in pretty good shape but I'm older, I'm not dressed well, and some things aren't functioning the way the used to--but I'll get the job done. • It has everything I look for in a basic hotel, including being clean, a microwave, an oversized mini-fridge, an ironing board, and good wifi. The AC worked well and the water was hot. There were two minor annoyances: ○ Broken shower rod wall mount. This caused the shower curtain to be unable to properly close which caused an excessive amount of water to pool in floor. ○ Noise. My upstairs neighbor was obviously a young centaur practicing a LOT for a race tomorrow. That foal was doing more laps than a full season of NASCAR. Unless I was l planning to be at onsite at a hotel more and was willing to spend more, I would definetely stay here again.

Carlsbad Inn
Easy to find and great price. Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave in it. A few eating establishments were only a two to three minute walk away.

$50-60 dollar value room
The toilet set was broken phone did not work texture from remodeling on everything doors trim etc. door handle was almost all the way off when we arrived. Rusty fixtures in the bathroom and the faucet was so close to the back of the counter that you could hardly wash your hands. just not good! He did at least fix the door and the seat the next day but we only stayed two days!

Good stay
We arrived a little early but as soon as our room was ready, the receptionist allowed us access. This allowed us to do some things we didn't think we would have time to do. The temperature at the time of check in was 108° and it would have been impossible to wait in the car or even under a tree - not with two little dogs. Thank you for a nice stay.

I've just started taking the time to write reviews after a terrible and unsafe experience while in Little Rock. I feel that other single moms will appreciate honest feedback when making a decision on where to stay with their family. We were a late arrival and early checkout so I didn't want to spend a lot on a room but it had to be clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room. The beds were comfortable and the property was clean. I was able to park directly in front of my room and felt safe. I would recommend this Inn for a short stay in Carlsbad.

Ok stay.
Other reviews mentioned renovations. It is clear some updates have been made but not substantial ones. There were ants in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a lot of road noise and trains so i you're a light sleeper I'd pass. It was good for a one night stay on the way to the Caverns. I loved thay at check-in I was given enough towels and washcloths for our party. I wish other hotels were as considerate.

This property had recent renovations and was very nice. This was our first time staying in a motel an inn and we enjoyed the experience. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and in working condition. I had a pet with me and the check-in process was simple and easy with a small additional fee for pets. I would stay here again the next time I am in Carlsbad.
