Not a good hotel to stayPosted Sep 21, 2015
Cons: This hotel needs a complete make-over
Location: The Carlsbad National Park is close by.
Room was smelly, water leaking from bathroom to living room, blankets with ciggerate butt holes, .. Cannot recommend to anyone this hotel especially if you are staying with family.

Pros: Convenient. Short commute to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe National Parks as both those parks to not have in the park accomodations as other parks do
Cons: Even though it was a non-smoking room, the smell of smoke was still noticeable from the time when smoking was allowed. A fresh coat of paint might hel
Location: Proximity to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe. Relatively close to the nearest airport in Roswell.
Older building but very clean. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Very approachable, always willing to help if you needed it.

Hotel. Near Carlsbad CavernPosted Aug 9, 2015
The hotel is outdated, room smelled, dirty and the door wouldn't close properly (you could push on the door and the wall around the door would move) there was pubic hair on the bathroom shower ceiling. I didn't feel safe and would never stay at another econlodge ever if my life depended on it. I would of left and went somewhere else but it was non refundable. Breakfast was below avg. But I should have figured that since it would of been par for the course. Next time I will wait to see the hotel in person before I book online.

Mold in bathroom, AC and fridge barely worked, bedbugs in first room. Changed rooms and toilet was broken. Ceiling rotten and about to fall down in breakfast room.
