Overpriced

This hotel is way overpriced for the quality you receive. If this hotel were in another town away from oil field traffic they wouldn’t be able to get twenty dollars for these rooms a night. Sheetrock falling down from the bathroom ceiling, door locks unlocking on thier own, cigarette burns in the comforters in non smoking rooms, etc. Neither myself or my employees will ever stay here again.

worst stay

The hotel system was down. The front desk girl was very rude not to me but to other ppl as well. Ive been to a hotel before when their system was down but at least they had a back up plan maybe your hotel needs to brainstorm so if it happens again. I work in the oilfield so I only get a couple of hours to sleep so this error cut into my sleep time. The tv didnt work but it was already so late I didnt report it. Worst stay

Bad smell in room

Not the cleanest room and there was a funky chemical-like smell in the room. Glad it was only one night otherwise would have switched hotels.

OK motel, close to the Carlsbad Caverns.

Basically my experience was ok. Not great, just ok. One of my bath towels had serious holes. My face cloth, probably clean, looked not clean due to ground in dirt. There was no coffee pot in the coffee maker. There was no rug to put on the floor by the bath tub so your not standing on the cold tile floor which in now wet, due to your own dripping water. I had no Do Not Disturd sign & I was disturbed by housekeeping before I was ready & I had 2 hours until checkout time. The TV in my room could not pick up a signal on Sunday morning. It has done just fine on Saturday night.

Disappointed

Pros: The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast-room staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: Just don't rent a room until the remodel is completely done.
Location: It was a ways out from downtown, but it was easy to find our way around.
The downside to this motel was the bathroom. It appeared to be in a state of being remodeled...nice tile bathtub at first glance made me think, "this is ok". Then I sat on the stool and it was not attached securely to the floor! It moved every time I sat on it. A large person would have to be very careful when sitting down!!! When I closed the bathroom door the unfinished remodel became even more apparent. The floor and walls were unfinished, and the door had a large hole in it. The fridge was loud - enough that it kept me from sleeping. Checkout was 11:00 and because of a car problem, I asked for a 15 minute extension. The young lady at the desk was so kind. She said that was fine. I was in the room and at 10:55 there was one knock on the door and the housekeeping staff left themselves in! Thank goodness I was dressed. I explained that I had an extension and they should talk to the front desk. They kept saying "checkout, checkout". It was obvious they did not speak or understand English. That was frustrating and having them just walk in was upsetting to me.

Close to the people we came to see

No fan in bathroom causing mold on the ceiling and around the tub. No smoke alarm.

Hotel called morning of our stay and said overbooked. They moved me to Super 8 across the street. I had two rooms. The first room the maintenance man was walking out of room with a spray can as we went into it. He had sprayed something in bathroom. It smelled so bad had to be moved to another room. Three story hotel and no elevator. We are over 70. Rooms are fair. Rooms in need of new mattresses.

Bed was comfy and the room is large, but it needs to be re done. The linens and bathroom were clean but the walls could use some work. It was fine for one night.
