First thing I noticed was the carpet in the hallways, you had to be careful walking. Because at every joint it was lifting up. Room was clean. Breakfast was tasteless, the dryer for guests did not work, but the hotel allowed us to use the hotel’s dryer, that was a great jesture. Rooms were narrow, hard to manage the cart.

Too expensive

Normal Hampton Inns but,too expensive for area with a view of Wal-Mart and gas station. I guess for the oil industry folks it's great location. If,you're visiting, I think it's too pricey.

If you have to go to carlsbad

If you find yourself in need of a CB experience I recommend this hotel. Service was great and price wasn’t too bad especially for the area. It cost you a lot for a beach less CB.

hotel was great except the tiles in the bathroom had nasty grout. they need to take some bleach and a toothbrush to the floors, and clean up. I just put a towel down and went about my business. I plan on coming back there, so hope they improve on that.
