First, I’ve stayed at a dozen Hilton garden inn hotels throughout my travels, this being by far the most embarrassing. 1/2 of the hotel is under construction, which happens, but the amount of trash, debris and dust is beyond what any paying customer should be subjected to. I’ve worked in the construction industry my entire life and would FIRE everyone on that job. The contractor running this project is hot garbage or he can’t afford vacuums. Broken drywall, paint chips and construction trash riddled our hallway, broken screens and dozen guys in orange shirts standing around on their phones. I was slightly embarrassed for Hilton management, but they don’t seem to care about the overall aesthetics either. Elevator filled with graffiti and trash our entire stay. I do have one solid positive, the staff. They were all great. The receptionist who checked me in was the best. Wish I knew her name because she deserves 100 stars. Without our awesome interaction, I’d rate this stay a minus 5 stars. She deserves to work somewhere better until remodel is over (which appears to be never) pol was nice, location was perfect for walking to beach, other than that, book this place in 2 years when remodel is over. DO NOT GO THIS SUMMER) you’re welcome in advance
