Older property but was kept well, the room was comfortable, double sinks, comfortable beds (no pillow-top: good). My disappointment was that we booked it because of the pool so my kids could swim, but it was not cleaned or ready for use. It was outside and full of debris and the walls of the pool were green. Granted, we visited in mid-April, but it was 90 degrees and we would have liked to used it.

Check in had one person working with 6 people wanting to check in. First room dirty Next room so-so. Needs so much maintenance. The rating was definitely incorrect. I should have read more reviews. The best thing going here was the lounge and restaurant. The staff in both these areas were incredibly great. Room too hot and if you turned the ac on it was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think. Bath dated. Plumbing not good. Our toilet got backed up. Such a disappointment especially since it was rated good

My first impression was good. Then I went to the room which was on the second floor with no elevators. I had to lug my stuff up the stars and down the next day. The door lock did not open, despite showing a green light. The mechanism was broken, was able to finally able to open the door after 3-4 tries. Finally figured out I would have to do that each time I went into the room. The breakfast was lacking. The Apple Juice was watered down yellow tinted water and the Orange Juice was orange colored water, both flavorless. There was no coffee dispenser, the staffs ask me if I wanted coffee, I said yes, but never received any. My wife walked to the front desk where there was a coffee dispenser to get some. They had pancakes, eggs, cereal, one flavor of yogurt. One of the staff was refilling the pancakes from one container to the serving container with her bare hands. There was one large bottle of hot sauce for the whole dining room.

Very loud music playing to early hours of the morning train horn at 6am multiple times and rooms were dirty. Broken tiles in the bathroom letting who knows what in and bed had a hole in it down to the springs.

Stayed here for two nights to visit the caverns. The room was good. We stay two nights because I wanted to take the second day and relax at the pool. My error, it is a seasonal pool. Not open while we were there in March. Wasn't warm enough anyway. Totally my error in thinking it would be warm enough to swim. LOL The morning breakfast was fine. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Please remember to tip them. Even though it is a buffet, they are cleaning up after you and bringing you your morning coffee or juice. It is a short drive to the Caverns. Monday nights their restaurant is not open. However, the Chinese buffet down the street was pretty good.

Our first room the tub backed up with dirty water. Was moved to a new room which was an upgrade. A lot better. Free breakfast was limited and not great, filling but not nutritional. No fruit available. Overall the personal were great, the facilities average. Will not go there again.

The bar is…
This is an older motel which has been taken care of rather well. The facility has a detached bar and brings in a lot of people from the city abroad to party at night. Non motel stayers create a lot of noun the parking lot to drink, rev-up their engines, yell and all the other things partiers do. The facility is well kept but the bar brings in a lot things not conducive to a quiet stay.

Over night front desk guy was rude when checking into my room, also i had reserved a king size bed and they didnt have that available for me gave me a room 2 queen beds
