First the property is gorgeous and the grounds are extremely well maintained and beautiful. The interior design is also perfectly curated to blend modern British cottage meets Spanish style elements.
The pastries made on site and available in the coffee shop are excellent.
There are some details I thought you may want to know about that could enhance the experience and make it truly a 5 star resort.
there is no easy way to order a beverage when at the pool. At any other resort there are servers around checking in on guests. Here I was told I could go into the lobby bar and order something and bring it to the pool...in a wet bathing suit this is not ideal.
There is no easy way to get to the pool as there is only one way in/out, so when you leave the pool you have to walk through the main area in order to get to the cottages. asked if there was another route we were told we could "go through the kitchen"
Called the front desk several times to get the WiFi password and no response...actually went down to the front desk, we were told the front desk was not answering because they were "in a meeting" 😑
The room overwhelming smelled of campfire. After all the windows open to air it out I asked if someone may be able to come and deodorize the room. A housekeeper dropped off a bottle of febreeze. So I had to DIY deodorize
There's no trash can near the wet bar/coffee area in your room
No towel hooks near the shower
No ice available after ten pm…??
This is not a true 5 star…
