Nice Staff

Pros: Has a lift for disabled people to use and the Foyer is street level with no steps. Normally the Room service for Dinner.
Cons: If you need to use a walker they need to look at the way the doors open to the bathrooms. Blinds need to shut all the way.
Location: Good location short walk to the Tram stops.
We had a booking for a Double Double which we have stayed in before which is very nice with plenty of room. When l booked asked for a roll in shower but the room does not have a roll in shower. We got asked if we would like to swap to a King size bed and Single bed room with a roll in shower, Husband has to use a walker, so we said yes, not good the room is small with not much room for a walker and when you go to the bathroom the door opens out so you can't use the walker to get into the bathroom and when you get in the bathroom you have to get in the shower which is beside the toilet so you have a space of 300 mms to get into the shower, we did say this to the staff and said we could have gone to the disabled room but there is only a Queen bed and no bedding for the grand daughter who was on the booking. Another gripe is the curtains did not close all the way so a lot of light came into the room. The room service for Dinner was not available some issue with kitchen, last time we used room service and it was great. Staff are very helpful.

Pleasant hotel close to princes park

Cons: bedroom doors seemed to slam and echo down the corridor ( I was in room 313) which some may find a bit disruptive to sleeping
This is a very welcoming place with staff who are anxious to make the stay pleasant and comfortable - without being pushy. Opposite Princes park and regular tram service it is accessible to city and other venues.

Good location but that's about it!

It was in a great location but the hotel was run down. Holes in the walls, leaking roof, dirty kettle and dishes. Staff was ok but we ended up leaving a day early because home was more comfortable. Disappointed for the amount we spent for a get away. Buffet was average as well.

This is a convenient place to stay if you are going t o Melbourne Uni or North Melbourne. Always wish I brought a bicycle - there is a path straight out the front.

Overnight put stop

Room was good, but cleaning could have been better. Old bottle of fresh milk in fridge and breakfast menu only one was filled out by previous guest. Shower needed a better clean. Staff upon checkin were disinterested but checkout were good. Overall okay but should pay more attention to detail. This was my third visit and l look forward to seeing improvement next time.

Okay stay.

My friend and I stayed there for one night. Overall the hotel is nice and offers great services like swimming pool, small fitness centre and spa. But I felt it lacked in the customer service area. One of the night staff was rude to my friend when he was waiting at the reception. The staff treated him like if he was a thief as if he was there to steal something. That rude behaviour was not a good experience for us, otherwise it would have been a nice stay. And next morning when I went to the reception to check out from the hotel, the other staff was like 'okay, that's done. See ya'. He didn't bother to ask me about how my stay was or asked me to stay with them again. Anyways, it was Okay stay there.

Pathetic service at Vibe Carlton

Pathetic, middle of winter arrived air conditioner not working properly. Put up wit it first night. Second night called desk. Duty person gave over the phone instructions to sort out issue, did not work. Same person came up to the room to sort out at 10.30pm could not. I ended up sorting out turning air conditioner off and family were given an extra blanket and froze overnight. Next morning family were treated like idiots because we did not know code to go into air conditioner, neither did the person the night before. Informed manager when checking out, informed my family she would speak to duty manager and look into it, very poor service, not even an apology.
