The door stuck in first room we were in. They moved us to another room where the wallpaper was coming off, the telephone didn't work and we were right next to a mechanical room so we heard machines go on and off through the night. The staff were very warm and nice. Good breakfast.

Check in was easy and the girl at the front desk was very helpful and polite. WiFi in my room was excellent as well as the television choices. Bed was comfy and clean, I liked the toiletries provided. Bathroom could have been cleaner though, I found a Q-tip on the floor. Coffee in the room was gross, and unfortunately I had to leave before the breakfast but it smelled amazing. I've stayed at this hotel twice now and would definitely stay again.

Uncooperative staff, aging building

I spoke to three different staff members during my 3 night stay and was surprised each time how consistently inconsiderate their customer service skills and attention to detail was delivered. The building is falling apart and paint coming off the walls. Smelled as if animals frequently urinate. They do allow pets.

We were in NJ for a funeral. It was a stressful trip & before I left, was hoping there would be no trip problems. Everything went very well.

Convenient and Clean with a Friendly Staff

Pros: Cleanliness Friendliness Helpful staff.
Cons: Breakfast had a good assortment - but the fake eggs and automatic pancakes could definitely be improved. Scramble up some eggs and get a waffle maker
Location: DiPaolo's restaurant was excellent. A little pricey, but the food was great.
We make a trip each year to M&M Hunting and Shooting Preserve and get 3 rooms for 6 guys. The hotel is only about 3.5 miles from M&M. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The beds were so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning. Hubert and Anita and all of the front desk staff were very friendly. We will definitely be going back again next year.

Pros: Kind, attentive & clean!
Location: Easy on /off as we travel from the S.E. To the N.E.
We had just come from another Holiday Inn in Emporium, VA. 1 yr earlier it was great. This time...rundown, rude/indifferent staff. We were so delighted to have a positive experience when we arrived at the Carneys PT. location. Everyone outdid themselves!

Very Satisfied Customers.

Pros: They had the 3 room configurations we needed to accomodate six guys on a hunting trip. The staff was helpful. The place was clean. Breakfast great.
Cons: No recommendations.
Location: M&M Shooting Preserve is incredible! Well worth the trip from anywhere.
5 guys and I arrived at the Holiday Inn Express and were immediately greeted by Hubert, an incredibly friendly and helpful gentlemen. Our three rooms were immediately available. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We couldn't have been happier with the accomodations. Special thanks to Hubert! At Huberts recommendation, we visited a restaurant called DiPaolo's. The food was awesome, the portions were huge, and the service was great. The price was on the high side but no regrets. HI - We will be back next year. Thanks!

Nice hotel for quick trip to visit family

Pros: It was close to function I was attending.
Location: Close to NJ Turnpike. Not much to do nearby except maybe the Cowtown rodeo on Saturday night.
I stayed here because it was close to a family function I was attending. The front desk staff was pleasant, the room was nice and clean. The breakfast was basically a continental breakfast with eggs and sausage added. My wife has been a GM at other hotel chains and pointed out some housekeeping oversights that a room inspector should have found, but I never would have noticed them without her pointing them out. I did notice a lot of rooms on my floor had the doors propped opened and the rooms were not cleaned yet at 9 pm Saturday night so they must have been shorthanded in housekeeping.
