Nice country hotel, lovely shower, comfy bed and breakfast was lovely. We also had tea at the hotel which was reasonably priced and very tasty after a long walk around the waterfalls! Our room could have done with a paint touch up but otherwise good value for money!

The Wheatsheaf is well situated in the village centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. A limited menu but good food.

Charming

Friendly staff, lovely local pub with old charm (beams, open fire), but also modern facilities sympathetically installed. Good parking, and easy access to the village and its amenities. Food was ok, a little disappointing tho.

Hotel good value, staff very friendly and helpful.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bathroom needed replacing.
Location: The walking opportunities are excellent. We followed the Ingleton Waterfall trail and visited the White Scar caves. Both areas were well cared for.
Bathroom needed updating but otherwise the hotel was acceptable. One vegetarian meal was awful the first night but the second was very good the following evening. Breakfast was excellent for veggies and meat eaters.

Won't be back

Incredibly dirty bathroom. Breakfast table was dirty and sticky, and the milk and OJ jugs look like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. I don't mind a basic hotel but cleanliness and hygiene is a must.

No problems checking in. Lovely room - clean and quiet. Very homely. Breakfast was served between 8-9am and catered to your needs. Everything you need for staying in Ingleton.

Pleasand stay and good location.

Posted Sep 16, 2016
Pros: Location good for local village and waterfalls walk. Short drive to White Scar Caves, Ribblehead Viaduct and Hawes.
Cons: Better wi-fi coverage in bedrooms.
Location: Within Ingleton village. Waterfalls walk nearby. White Scar caves nearby. Lots of walking options.
The Wheatsheaf is a typical village pub offering en-suite rooms. Car parking adequate, room clean and comfortable. Full English breakfasts cooked to order and excellent. Bar and restaurant areas generally clean. Wi-fi did not work in bedroom. Located on a one-way street so a little frustrating to have to drive round the block whenever approaching from the Hawes direction.
