Our room was a shared bathroom, but it is only shared with one other guest room as the third room on offer has an en-suite, so it wasn't an issue for us. "Staying at Cambo is an unforgettable experience. When everyone else goes home, you get to stay and wander the beautiful grounds and spend the night in one of the historic rooms. The service is wonderful, the breakfast is huge and delicious (get the porridge!), and the bed was comfortable. I also loved being able to go for run through the property and directly to the sea in the morning! "

The house aand room were very well maintained and you could sit in the front yard (which was also lovely) and have a cuppa and enjoy the views. "The apartment is very comfortable with all you need. Well presented and spotlessly clean throughout. Within a minutes walk from Pittenweem harbour, with parking on the street outside. The terrace looking straight out to sea and the Isle of May is wonderful and we enjoyed drinks in the sunshine as we were fortunate with the weather for the end of April. We would thoroughly recommend the apartment - a cut above as my mother in law used to say."

"First time in Pittenweem. The flat was small but we didn’t need anything bigger. Space had been used carefully and was well furnished. When the wood burning stove got going it made for a cosy experience. Pleasant seafront area nearby and Anstruther is only half a mile or so away. St. Andrews is about 20 minutes by car. Well worth a short visit (three nights for us)."
