It didnt take away the tranquility of the village.Great shop and pub next door.We cant wait to return next year when the site will be even more blended into the countryside."

"We visited for Mums birthday in March there were 4 of us plus one dog. The accommodation was lovely and comfortable and not too far from the main buildings. I visited the pool two mornings and really enjoyed the facilities. It is a great base for exploring the West of Scotland with some beautiful scenery . We had a takeaway from the restaurant and it was delicious and well worth a try."

"Totally wonderful, the view from the dining hall was stunning. The staff were great and so helpful. It was a birthday treat for my wife, and there was a lovely box of chocolates from the hotel in our room, which was a lovely gesture. The food was exquisite, so all in all it was a perfect few days in paradise 🙂🙂"

"A wonderful property at a stunning location. Can't really praise Scone Cottage - the property is amazing with modern amenities but Victoria and team are really great hosts and they have thought of everything.We are planning to visit again at some point - we loved the place."

"We stayed 2 days and it was excellent. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The large drawing room that overlooks Loch Melfort was also available for us to use which we enjoyed. We enjoyed a delicious 4 course dinner on the evening of our arrival prepared and served by our host Mathew. This was our first visit to Melfort House and hopefully we will be back again soon."
