Overall hotel is nice and at best location in Cartagena (and the highest rates). Very disappointed as of the following issues - coffee maker was very dirty, (after compliianing some came after long time and said we'll replace in few mins but it took again very long time and then left message in Spanish. Even in next 3 days it was not replaced. Though We did clean over selves). - locker (safety box) was not working. After complaining, it took more than 1 hours the techinition replaced the battery and cleaned battery terminals. - very dirty glass windows. That was blocking a beautiful view on of 3 beatuiful pools and the beach. There was mold on all three windows. - one light was not working in the bothroom. - toilet seat was broken / repaired. But the carrack was there and was a place for germs to grow. - sailing for the shower was broken - hotel restaurant's prices are high. Staff was nice and cooperative. The beauty of the hotel is the Pool area, beautiful and well maintained.

Great hotel 3 tennis courts in good Food wasn't spectacular, average. Prices are high. . .

Beach wasn't very nice

A lot of garbage on the beach everywhere. Beaucoup de détritus sur la plage.

Nice Hilton

The hotel was very nice and staff was very friendly, overalll we really enjoyed our stay. The only draw back that we found was the "Private" beach. The beach is in fact accessible to only hotel guests however the vendors that are at the beach are OVERWHELMING!!! We could NOT relax at all! We were SWARMED and not left alone it was honestly so upsetting. We decided to just stay in the pool area because it was so bad. We were not able to enjoy the "private" beach at all!! Sad because we thought we could go there and relax but it was the opposite. I know they are trying to make a living but they should limit them from over bothering the guests.

Nice hotel with great conference capabilities.

Hotel is very nice but nearby beaches arent great and the colonial old town is a bit far if you plan on going there often. We went there for a conference, which was great in terms of space, organization and service.

Nice hotel with excellent staff

The hotel was a very good choice . The view from the room was excellent . The room was clean and comfortable . The staff was very helpful and pleasant . The only problem - the room did not have an option to open the windows - no breeze at all . Advise - do not book the shuttle to the hotel - It is a rip off . And Expedia forgot to inform us that the shuttle comes only at 8 AM and 12 PM at the hotel . So we took a cab . Still waiting for Expedia to apologize for the false advertisement . Over all great trip and a great hotel .

Nice hotel. Great breakfast! Good location.

Pros: Location. Staff friendliness. Cleanliness of hotel-lobby, rooms, etc. Services offered. Pool-side service. Bountiful meals at restaurant.
Cons: The pool could use an upgrade. Size is excellent, but is in need of some repair. Avoid the beach area at all cost!!!
Location: Restaurants, bars, etc. in walking distance. Taxi's run about $2-3 to take you into Getsemani and El Centro.
Friendly staff (Josefina at patio dining at Chiva restaurant makes the best omelettes and Silfredo at the pool bar makes the best limonada de coco con vodka). Everyone was very accommodating in all aspects of our week-long stay. They stock bathrooms with great quality shampoo, soaps, lotions, etc. (brand-Peter Thomas Roth). Pricing is good for all services, retail, meals, etc. Book your trips through Gema Tours located just right of the lobby to get the best pricing and hotel pickup.

Location: Walking distance from places to eat and shop
Staff was very helpful didn't had a charge issue but staff was very good in resolving it. Hotel is nice but the only thing I saw that needed improvement was choices in breakfast buffet its more like ham, breads, and cheeses.

Nice hotel at the beach

It is a quite good hotel, the staff is friendly. It needs to have better restaurants and nicee beach facilities
