Excellent Location - be aware of stairs

This hotel is located inside the old city, exactly where you want to be, near plazas, restaurants etc... I do recommend this hotel. However, be aware that there are stairs with high steps to go to the second floor where the rooms are and if you are not use to exercise, your calves will suffer a bit and there is a lot of walking in the city. THe service is great and the rooms are very clean.

Good for a few nights

Pros: Room was very clean. Good air conditioning and hot water in the shower.
We stayed during the holiday season so rates were obviously higher than normal (everywhere was). For the regular price this hotel is a good value. The room we were in was run down a bit, but just wear and tear, chipped tiles etc. However it was very clean which is what I care about. Also the AC we had worked great, we had to turn it down and the room still stayed very cool. We were on the first floor right off the reception area, so there was some noise from that and the small bar across the street, but nothing that was that bothersome. Our made to order omelets were great and the breakfast service was very good. Location great inside the walled city and staff was helpful.

1. Tried to charge me extra money and argue the price I reserved was in USd. Using the current exchange rate, it was still way off. Had to argue for 45 minutes but finally they adjusted my bill. At least they did that. 2. When I arrived, the receptionist told me the internet was broken so they did not have my reservation. I am pretty sure he was high because he first told me they had no rooms but later said they actually do. So it took a very confusing 45 minutes to check in. 3. A/C was totally broken so we had to change rooms. Breakfast was delicious though! The cook was a sweet lady also :)

Cobraron adicional, cuando por la página se adquirió alojamiento para cuatro personas . La explicación no tiene justificación ni sustento.
