The hotel staff was NOT friendly & I personally had to greet each employee before they would even say a word Staff seemed as if it was only a paycheck. The fees they charged @ checkout was ludicrous & it's not even in US dollars so 3million plus pesos is mind boggling. Pool closes @ 8pm SHARP!!! 9 on weekends. There's NOTHING more to do @ the hotel other than the pool or a bar in lobby that closes just as early. No fun when you are on vacation. Hotel IS SAFE & the security there may even overdo it upon entering the hotel but it benefits you the guest so that's a plus. There are NO vending machines nor did I see an ice machine on the floors so if you don't want to pay a lot of $ for the snacks left for PURCHASE in your room, make sure you stop into a store or market to get the adults, wine, beer, even food & all the necessities you know your child would like. The hotel overall was clean & well kept & they don't allow people on the beach to start harassing you selling massages, bracelets, food etc. I will not return to the hotel not because it was horrible as it wasn't but being there's NOTHING to do after 8, it doesn't work for me.
