Excellent modern building on the beach.

They Ned an English speaking concierge. Could not get any help in arranging a trip to Rosario Islands. Al they had was agent selling the worst tour. There are many better tours that the desk people could not help with. Had to figure it out myself. The desk people did try very hard to help but lacked the knowledge. Staff very friendly and helpful but lacked the language ability and the knowledge.

vacation in Cartagena

Stayed 3 nights w my family in Cartagena. Hotel is very nice, clean, safe, and staff is friendly. Food was great. Not in center of town, but a short taxi ride away. Definitely recommend

Bed bug infested

We decided to come to this hotel as it was the most kid friendly in the area. On our first night we were victims of bed bug bites all night. I woke up with at least 30 bloody and itchy bites. The hotel simply gave us a different room which I believe still had some bugs bit we wore repellent before going to bed. We left after two nights. Now we are disinfecting our clothes and suitcases as we fear they may have traveled with us! Terrible experience.

Total relax

Love the place ! Close to everything but peaceful area The food is delicious from breakfast to room service The pools are very nice My only complaint is the bathroom in the room need cleaning or upgrade it looks dirty the shower and tub area

was not what we expected

The hotel staff was NOT friendly & I personally had to greet each employee before they would even say a word Staff seemed as if it was only a paycheck. The fees they charged @ checkout was ludicrous & it's not even in US dollars so 3million plus pesos is mind boggling. Pool closes @ 8pm SHARP!!! 9 on weekends. There's NOTHING more to do @ the hotel other than the pool or a bar in lobby that closes just as early. No fun when you are on vacation. Hotel IS SAFE & the security there may even overdo it upon entering the hotel but it benefits you the guest so that's a plus. There are NO vending machines nor did I see an ice machine on the floors so if you don't want to pay a lot of $ for the snacks left for PURCHASE in your room, make sure you stop into a store or market to get the adults, wine, beer, even food & all the necessities you know your child would like. The hotel overall was clean & well kept & they don't allow people on the beach to start harassing you selling massages, bracelets, food etc. I will not return to the hotel not because it was horrible as it wasn't but being there's NOTHING to do after 8, it doesn't work for me.
