Las Americas Casa Playa was again amazing. They remember us from previous visits. staff is amazing, can't say enough. Reception staff fantastic. Dining breakfast staff amazing, never had to ask for coffee.

The property was nice. It was great for kids to play and have a good time. The pools and playgrounds and staff that set up the games for the children were great. The restaurants breakfast was the best part of the food. The restaurants lunch and dinner were adequate. I excepted food to be more culturally appropriate but it was very Americanized. The staff at the front desk were not friendly. They tried to over charge us upon arriving. Lied to us about the costs. It was disheartening because that was the first impression we received upon arriving to Colombia it ruined the rest of our stay. If this had not been our experience I would be saying we would for sure come back but unfortunately we will not. We will be staying at another resort next time.

Highly recommended! From the moment you arrive you know you are in a excellent hotel. Very friendly staff. Food is lovely. Very nice rooms with AC . Good choice of pools . Lifeguards very attentive with the safety. My son was not feeling great when we arrived, he was seen by a nurse from the hotel. Included in the price. He soon got better after he prescribed some medication. You get fresh towels when you go down to the swimming pools, just have to return them after use. A taxi service at the front door, car always available and affordable with seat belts and AC

The rooms are a little outdated. But the property was nice and well kept. The pools were very nice, one for kids and the other for adults. The beach was gorgeous, very clean and maintained. The front desk staff was nice and friendly

So far we have stayed at the Hilton, the Sonesta and now at the hotel las Américas. Las Américas was by far the best. They have everything you need to just stay there and enjoy your time. But, if you decide to go anywhere into the city, transportation is easy to find and always friendly drivers. The only minus we found is that we booked a private tour of the city from the lobby. The gentleman who took us was nice and knew the area we'll. The issue was his car. The air conditioner hardly worked and I was pretty sure his clutch was going to fail at some point during the 4 hour your.

The property has a great location, and it has very good amenities for adults and kids. Restaurant staff is just the worst compared to any other hotel I’ve stayed at. Had to talk to the staff manager. At certain point I heard another guest was told his order was not taken because he didn’t confirm he wanted to order. Hahaha. Crazy, they forgot and gave all sort of excuses. Sheets seemed dirty, later I fortunately noticed they were dirty.

The roofs on the older side of the property leak during heavy rain. Not set up for US tourists. Few staff members speak English. Have to pay extra for tents by the beach. Street vendors are very persistent and it’s hard to relax.
