Pros: Absolutely nothing ,except the parrot in the lving room who said "Hola" to me ALL day!
Cons: Everything needs improvement....the rooms, the A/c, the breakfast, the Wi-Fi, The staff was all sweet and tried to be helpful with their limited capa
Location: Although the location in the old city is next to San Pedro Square and ALL the historical minuments, I cannot in good faith recommend staying here.
Arrived to find no one at hotel and doors locked. Waited over two hours for proprietor to arrive. She claimed we had NO reservation. Nonetheless, she would try to accommodate us. We should have walked away, but it was Christmas week and the city was heavily booked. We were the ONLY persons staying at the hotel.

Please was really nice. Beautiful house located on a pretty busy street. Great rooms, nice bathroom with big shower with great water pressure. The only Con....they have a parrot that starts talking & making noise at 7 am every morning.

Casa Rosa Escape

Posted Aug 7, 2014 on Hotels
My stay at Casa Rosa was absolutely great, the room was extremely clean and private. There was a person available at the hotel 24 hours a day. I would say that this was only a 2 room hotel and does not give you great views in the room, but the common area is great and breakfast was provided each morning. The woman who runs the Casa does not speak english, but I was able to communicate with only a marginal grasp of spanish. Overall the cleanliness and location was great and the price was right.

Perfect location

Casa Rosa is located right next to San Pedro Claver in the Walled City and it's close to everything. You can walk everywhere. The staff was very nice, although they spoke very little English. They made a nice effort to make special breakfasts for my father and I. There were only two downsides - the TV service went down during our stay due to an unpaid bill and the shower had very, very low pressure and no hot or warm water. The TV situation wasn't too bad, they did their best to fix it and when we were exhausted from the heat and walking around, we read instead. There wasn't anything they could do about the water pressure and temperature but they made an effort to see if it could be fixed for us. Overall, nice little hotel. The location is definitely one of the best things about it.

Great Location

Very small room, but great location for the price compared to other hotels we saw. Close to the nicer part of the walled section of the city. Very close to the entrance through the "Plaza de Reloj". Beautiful view from the top floor where they have a jacuzzi. All in all, great place to stay if you're not planning to spend too much time in the room.
