Stayed at the BW while in Rome for weekend tournament. The staff was friendly and informative. Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Return to Rome, Ga.

Our stay was quite enjoyable. The Best Western staff were really nice and accommodating. We were in Rome for a basketball and baseball 50 years reunion at Berry College. We had easy access to Berry College with plenty of restaurants and stores to fit our style. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and a blessed Thursday through Saturday. Thank you for being part of our celebration.

Cons: Handicapped bathroom had a tub with 1 handle to hold on to while stepping into tub. The room should have a walk in shower,. No handle bar near toilet.
Cold and hot water were reversed and water temperature was just warm not hot. Very small bathroom. Handicapped parking was far from handicapped room.

The bed was not very comfortable. The continental breakfast was good and substantial. The WIFI was fast enough to stream and get some work done.

Decent, but overpriced (like all Rome hotels)

Staff was nice and the location is fine, but the room needed some SERIOUS cleaning. Sheets and pillow cases appeared stained, and the condition of the bed is THE most important thing to a traveler. Overall the room was okay, and it was fine for the one-night stay that I was in town for, but it was NOT worth the $96 I paid after taxes and fees. The room was worth HALF of that. It's a $40 motel room that they are charging $80 for. It is what it is.... EVERY hotel room in Rome, Georgia, is horribly overpriced. It's from lack of competition -- only about 10 hotels in the entire town, only four or five of which are what I would call good or even above average... so you can pay $40 for the crack-dealer "motels" or twice that rate for the at-least-decent "hotels." There's not many options. Just plan to sleep on top of the sheets like I did, and you'll be fine. The free breakfast is good, the staff is nice enough, and it was a nice, quiet location... but for $96, I at LEAST expect a spotlessly-clean bed.

Nice clean hotel

Hotel was recently renovated. It was very clean and didn't have any strange odors. If I am ever in the area again I will be staying here.
