visiting rome ga.

Pros: Kellie at front desk was exceptional and helped with all our questions and needs
Location: location was great, next to main hwy, easy in and out to downtown Rome or take the bypass
called expedia to book a room at econo and everything was great and ready to go when we arrived. we were just looking for an low budget place to spend the night on Expedia and found Econo very close to were we were wanting to go the next day.

When in Rome

Pros: Affordable with great amenities and restaurant next door.
Cons: Fix the entrance to the parking lot.
Location: Located right next to a Huddle House and only about three miles from downtown Rome.
Great hotel that I would recommend. It was clean and comfortable with fridge, microwave, ice machine, and plenty of parking. There is a Huddle House next door that gives a 10% discount with room key. Now for the bad part....no elevator for a three story hotel....parking lot is hard to get into (drive slowly so as not to damage your vehicle) it is not level with the street....and like other reviewers have stated the halls have a slight Indian food smell. Otherwise a great stay.

Quiet Retreat

The positives for my four night stay started with the friendliest and most professional front desk interaction in recent memory. I am in motels an average of 5 nights a week and the value of this hotel is spectacular. Room I was given was a little on the small side but more than made up for that by being the quietest room I have ever had. Everywhere you look there are tasteful upgrades and remodels that have been done to this hotel. It is nice to go somewhere and get the sense that it is a cared for property. The Wi-Fi was solid and did not drop, an important feature for someone on the road skyping back home. I will undoubtedly stay here again on my travels.

Cold Noisy Rooms

I booked with Hotels.com over the phone, the rate was 67.50 which included tax. Both rooms we rented with king size beds were ok. We had rooms 101 and 102 both across from vending machines, and my room 101 right next door to an ice maker. Both rooms did not have a extra heavy blanket, so I awoke every 2 hours cold, and heard noise all night from the ice maker. The free breakfast which was included was a alright. I suppose I should have asked for two rooms on the second floor away from noise.

Rome Pow Wow

Pros: Enclosed hotel felt very safe
Cons: pillows and continental breakfast. Thank goodness we had a Huddle house next to us.
Location: Great location to where we were going
We had a good experience with this hotel. Kelli was very friendly upon check in. Very accomodating when asked for hair dryer which was not provided in room and extra towels. Beds were comfortable.

A friendly disposition does make a difference..

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Have stayed here before, while visiting in area. Room was clean and was priced to fit our budget. Breakfast was very basic but not a problem for us.

Simple clean place to stay.

My family and I stayed here before my wedding. It was simple and clean. That is really all we were looking for. The only complaint was the hall smells badly of smoke. My room was ok however. They have a continental breakfast but since it was just pasties and bagels my diabetic family needed to go next door to huddle house for breakfast. This is my second stay and I would recommend it.

Friendly Staff and Comfortable

We arrived late and the staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were a good size and were comfortable. The only problem we had was that the shower floor must have gotten cracked at some point, because it was covered with some hard plastic and if you stepped on the floor wrong the shower floor dipped down. Otherwise, very nice staff and accommodations.
