with an interesting and genuine feel. very helpful and nice staff. i like retro and this fitted the bill perfectly. if you don’t, it won’t be your cuppa, and that would be a loss.

Avoid.

Front desk staff = rude and useless. Bellhop, or whatever the gentlemen at the front does = pushy, annoying. Tries to grab whatever he can, Room key, luggage, your bottle of water, to “help” aka get a tip. This will happen every time you enter or leave the hotel. First room #17 = bed covered in someone else’s hair and dirt/sand. Bathroom toilet didn’t work so it flooded the entire washroom. Second room #34 = balcony door does not shut and there is a water heater unit in the washroom that sends off a high pitch squeal every 3-4 minutes for about 10 seconds. This hotel is horrible and we should have trusted the majority of the reviews. We had another stay here after we returned to Casablanca but cancelled it immediately. Do not stay here.

Riad close to all amenities

We were very happy with our stay here. İt was so cheap we couldn't believe it and expected it to be not so nice but it was charming and quiet. İt's a bit older so expect that but everything else was lovely.

authentic Morrocan elite decor

Close to the Medina and walking distance to the big Mosque. Can do a day trip to Rabat and Marrakech on 2 separate days. Traffic horrendous thought. Across the street is a very cheap restaurant. Hotel breakfast very good. Staff helpful. Dusty streets. Bring your own alcohol if you drink. Club nearby. Am very cheap supermarket on the next block. Will definitely recommend

A great traditional hotel. Breakfast had many choices and someone to cook an omlet to your specifications. Well located on a quieter street to see the town.

Very close to train station casa port 10 minutes walk. So one can come to the casa port station if one wants and get to the hotel by walk.

Fair experience overall, but excellent breakfast

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfasts were very good. BUT the room smelled musty, and the shower head kept falling off its holder and sprayed the bathroom floor with water. Also, you need good climbing skills to get in and out of the bathtub, as the tub is raised a couple of feet off the floor.
