Riad 7 was fantastic, one of the more unique (and beautiful) places I’ve ever stayed while traveling. Rashida is an excellent host and helped make my time in Azemmour super memorable. Highly rec!

A lovely property in the Old Medina, with comfortable rooms, a nice rooftop terrace for relaxing, and an amazing, accommodating hostess! An oasis within the rustic charms of what the Medina throws at you. Highly recommend a stay, if passing through Azemmour.

It is in the medina in Azzemour, a small friendly town an hour south of Casa, i chose it because i didint want to stay in a busy city. It is quiet and comfortable and the service is great. Maybe might get loud when in the busy season, but my experience was good and i would recommend.

Short stay best in Azzemour
This is a lovely Riad but our stay was disappointing. We heard this was a very artistic town but we saw little evidence of this. The bed was great but the entire shower room needs a really good scrub. Breakfast was good. We had dinner there one night which was nice but expensive. The area is pretty noisy at night. Wifi didn’t work in the bedroom.

True Moroccan hospitality.
I visited a part of Morocco not on the tourists trail. I was travelling on my own but the Riad I stayed in was perfectly safe. And conveniently located with in the Medina walls for me to see and experience how the local people lived.

My first stay in the city wanted to try a riad and I early found RIAD7 very well priced for a bed and breakfast. Came in late so nezha came to show me the way. My room am was cozy and a bit humid. No A/C Available to warm me up. Breakfast was copious and good. To do again

Broken toilet seat, loose floor tile, no AC, no sofa bed (it was just a normal sofa!), no WIFI in the room. Food and drink was served in cracked and chipped crockery. Initially told over the phone that we could check in outside of the normal check in time, after booking the rooms this was retracted so we had paid for an extra night and wasted our money. Really disappointed.

Great place
This riad is in a great location, amazing views from roof terrace, comfy beds, beautiful rooms, great substantial breakfast, and the staff is efficient and friendly...and they answered all our questions with a smile. Wifi works and our check in was fast. We were served tea and cookies upon arrival...it was a great way to start our stay. We will definitely return and I recommend Riad 7 wholeheartedly

Clean riad, friendly, good rate
Riad7 is a nice, reasonably priced riad in Azemmour. It is a short petit taxi ride from the train station (Azemmour Halte), which should run about 5 dhs per person each way. Rachida runs the place and is very nice. We ate dinner there too (Azemmour does not have many restaurants), and the food was good -- 150 dhs for three courses, and a decent bottle of Moroccan wine for 200 dhs. A great terrace with plenty of room for hanging out in good weather, great views over medina and the river. There is not much going on in Azemmour but it makes a nice stop.

Service was wonderful
The service was great and personable. Dinner was prepared exclusively for us and it was amazing! The hotel rooms could be cleaned a little more thoroughly. Overall it was not bad for the price.

Location in interesting old medina
I would have given this Riad all 5s had there been somebody there at the hotel when we arrived. We had to ask around in the medina for some time after 4, in my admittedly poor French, before finding somebody belonging to the hotel (and this was during the period posted for admissions - 4-8 pm). Also, it took 3 hours to get our passports back after giving them up to fill out forms. However, room was clean and pleasant, plumbing excellent, food good, and some of staff charming. I had the impression that it was a bad day for one of the owners. In any event, after all that was sorted out, the experience was good.

We were the only guests at the riad. Although the employees were friendly we did not feel very welcome. The communication was bad, sometimes there was no staff in the riad at all. The riad has great potential but we did not have a warm experience.

This is a charming and exotic riad in an excellent location within the medina of the town, nearby fascinating architecture, shopping, and with a lovely view from the rooftop. The courtyard is lovely and one could enjoy breakfast there or on the rooftop. The staff prepared a great breakfast every day and pleasantly accommodated us on days we needed an early start. We had a small room, but it was pleasant, clean, and provided a good night's sleep, quiet and dark. We had dinner there one night, and it was very good, but a bit expensive, tho no more than what you would pay in the U.S. I would definitely return and would recommend this to anyone. We travel a lot, but this was our first trip to Morocco, and we were greatly pleased with the accommodations.

Un joli riad avec une belle terrasse d'ou on peut voir la riviere. Les chambres ont un haut plafond avec une bonne isolation phonique.

Good price and residence relationship.
Good hotel clean with helpful staff and wi fi upgrade and the surrounding area is a big village. To move to the nearby cities you need a car. Breakfast is good and the host is helpful. The hotel is located in the old town.

Niets aan te merken op de Riad. Alleen in dit plaatsje is verder niets te doen of te beleven en de Riad is midden in de medina, dus moeilijk te vinden als je geen Google maps hebt, want de taxi kan hier niet komen.

Schönes Riad um zu entspannen
Wir waren hier unterwegs von Marrakesch nach Casablanca. Azemmour ist ein schönes Dorf, sehr unterschätzt. Hier kann man gut am marokkanischen Lebensstil teilnehmen. Wir wurden sogar von einem Marokkaner durch dessen Haus geführt. Im Riad wird man von einer sehr freundlichen Dame empfangen, die perfekt Französisch und auch Englisch spricht. Wir haben im Riad 7 auch zu Abend gegessen - sehr empfehlenswert!

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette hôtel Excellent accueil (la gérante est très chaleureuse et au petit soin pour les hôtes) Les chambres sont conformes aux photos, secteur calme en plein cœur de la médina Nous avons même eux la chance d'avoir un petit déjeuner tardif et d'excellente qualité

Nous rentrons tout juste de notre séjour . Malgré une arrivée chaotique (réservation annulée dans le système ) et tardive, nous avons beaucoup aimé nos 3 jours au Riad: suite Pacha impeccable avec literie confortable, petit déjeuner fait maison, diner délicieux, massage relaxant top et gérante Rachida très sympa et disponible. Un havre de paix au milieu de la vie locale trépidante.

Verdadeiro Marrocos
O hotel pousada fica localizado dentro de uma medina construída pelos portugueses e árabes por volta do ano de 1500, na cidade de Azemmour, 35 minutos de trem a partir da estação de Casablanca. A hotel é muito bem decorado nos mínimos detalhes com obras de arte e arquitetura que retratam o passado de forma moderna e sofisticada. Ainda possui terraço com vista para o rio. A maioria das pessoas na vila só fala árabe e alguns poucos compreendem o idioma francês, diferentemente das grandes cidades. O lado bom disso é que se pode observar a vida cotidiana e verdadeira do Marrocos. Recomendo muitíssimo para viajantes intelectuais, historiadores, fotógrafos ou simplesmente para quem quer observar a vida comum no Marrocos (pessoa em suas atividades diárias). Poucas opções de onde comer (quase nenhuma), porém o hotel oferece cardápio customizado. Destaco a especial atenção da equipe do hotel em ajudar no que for preciso para uma boa estada fornecendo recomendações, informações históricas sobre o local, etc. Apesar de estar viajando sozinho me senti seguro e muito confortável.

Après avoir choisi Riad7 en fonction des avis qui semblaient nous laisser penser à un séjour original et réussi dans un riad situé à l'intérieur d'une médina, nous avons dû déchanter. Déjà placé dans un environnement peu engageant, le riad mériterait pour le moins un grand nettoyage et une visite d'entretien pour remédier aux désagréments pour les clients (odeurs dans la salle d'eau, douche qui n'évacue pas, pommeau de douche qui arrose partout, spot pendant, sols sales et collants...). Nous avons toutefois apprécié les repas dans l'ensemble.

La responsable Rachida à été très accueillante et très sympathique, j'avais initialement réservé une chambre au rdc et elle m'a surclassé à l'étage ce qui a été plutôt agréable. Cette dernière à également été d'une très grande disponibilité malgré une arrivée tardive. Si vous recherchez quelque chose d'authentique dans la médina c'est parfait. Il est a signaler que cet établissement n'est pas très loin d'EL JADIDA.

Maison traditionnelle typique de médina marocaine
Nous avons donc dans cette ancienne maison traditionnelle typiquement marocaine ( "Riad 7" est un beau "Dar" à plusieurs étages, un patio central ouvert très décoré et fleuri, et de belles terrasses en plein ciel avec une vue panoramique sur la médina d'Azemmour et sur l'embouchure du fleuve Oum-Rbia). La décoration est très originale, un mélange maroco-contemporain très agréable et plaisant. Le personnel est très accueillant et charmant, tout spécialement Rachida, qui nous a très bien renseignés sur Azemmour, sa vieille Médina et les alentours à visiter. Le petit déjeuner y était très bon (excellent compromis entre tradition culinaire marocaine et us européens. Les levés de soleil depuis la plus haute terrasse, sont splendides avec des chants d'oiseaux merveilleux. C'est un lieu idéal pour Azemmour (centre historique avec les souks à proximité immédiate) pour tous ceux qui aiment découvrir à pied les anciennes médinas marocaines, dans une ambiance populaire véritable et sympathique. Bref : au "Riad 7", mezyan b-z-zèf, ferhani !

unfortunately we only stayed one night in this modern stylish riad. as we were the only guests this night the host directly offered us a bigger room than we booked. the whole riad including the rooms was ver tastefully furnished. also the rooftop was very nice and our room was clean. although our check-out was at 12pm the host even offered us to stay until afternoon

- Les odeurs d’égouts, fréquentes au Maroc, y compris dans les hébergements, sont camouflées dans les chambres par des boules de naphtaline (odeur trop forte et dérangeante) déposées dans la douche et le lavabo. - Un jus d'orange véritable n'est pas servi tous les jours. Petit déjeuner moyen. - Sinon la médina d'Azemmour est très belle (les fresques murales la rende atypique).

It is a nice hotel in the middle of the Azemor Medina. The hotel service is ok but do not have the Morocco kindness. The room is ok but the shower does not work properly. Everything is ok but Morocco charming is missing.

Dépaysement assuré.
Direction discrète,service irréprochable,personnel aimable et efficace,petit déjeuner de qualité.Prix défiant toute concurrence.Riad assez éloigné de l'entrée de la Médina mais après quelques trajets tout va mieux.Parking gardé à environ 500mètres,pas cher mais assez vite rempli.En résumé,très bonne adresse pour les amateurs de l'authentique et de la tradition.

Nice and cosy riad in the medina of the city
This nice little riad is very well situated in the medina of the city and offers a nice view from the roof top. The riad is nicely decorated with a number pieces of art. We enjoyed staying there and can highly recommend this riad.

From the outside the hotel looks like all the other old buldings you will find in the old medina. Inside it is an open, calm hotel with a modern look. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The shops and restaurants are not located in de medina, but just outside.
