Great stay at a great hotel

Really nice - great breakfast buffet, So Spa Staff was absolutely amazing and so professional and caring- on nous a boulversé c'était tellement relax je me suis endormi même, haha. We loved the service and the bar staff was so great and accommodating! Great view of Hassan II Mosque - cannot wait to come back!!!

An amazing country, staying in the Sofitel meant that all the local amenities were at arm's reach and the hotel expertly advised us and looked after all of our requests. Sofitel were always happy to go above and beyond, and it was noted - the spa and breakfast made this holiday even more enjoyable. Thank you to all the staff at Sofitel, Manisha

Sofitel life is 'Magnifique'

the hotel caught fire on the second floor spa section last sunday evening apr 9, 2017 about 9pm. when we arrived at 11pm that night the lobby was a chaos. guest in bathrooms couldnt enter their rooms. we have to carry our luggage by stairs to be transferred to the next door novotel. however, the sofitel people did not endorse us probably to novotel and we waited patiently to be assisted by novotel. an hour later if i hadnt't gone back to sofitel and demanded to be assisted to novotel, only was i personally assisted by a staff. we went back to novotel only to be told that they are fully booked. then we got transferred to hyatt. but i have to make mentioned of a certain mr. driss, a receptionist of sofitel who went out of his way to personally assist us to novotel and eventually drove us in his car to hyatt. however the next day again sofitel did not coordinate with hyatt on our transportation back to sofitel so that we have to take a taxi on the main street outside the hyatt grounds. and if you had been to casablanca downtown area street scene in front of hyatt, you know how typically chaotic that feels when taking a taxi there. and so that's what the locals say: 'welcome to casablanca'. this experience was not what the sofitel brand is advertising that with sofitel: ' LIFE IS MAGNIFIQUE'. well 'magnifique' i'll say.

Worst choice ever

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything in rooms
Location: terrible location, if you want to visit, check other places.
the room had a smell and it cost more than 300 euro a night, one bottle of water and the bathroom light wasn't working, i was obliged to stay there because of a late meeting, if not, i wouldnt spend one day there. the restaurant is nice and staff as well, but hotel location, and quality, is too far from being a sofitel.

Great end to our Moroccain trip

Pros: The lobby bar, the bar man, the gin mixes
Cons: free coffee int the room. Really. We saw they had Nespresso machines, get ther to find you had to pay. Sad!

We chose this hotel downtown to explore the city and th huge mosque, but our arrival was after the mosque closed so we could not see it. Traffic was busy to get there - but our 7am departure via the hotel van (70Euro) was quick and efficient to the airport. Great beds, quiet. Super friendly hotel staff.
