Uncomfortable weekend

Cons: Heating/cooling system
Location: Close to soccer fields
Checked into motel and room was very warm so I turned thermostat down to 60. Came back 4 hours later expecting the room to be cool and it was hotter. Turned thermostat to 50 and hoped it would cool. The fan never quit blowing warm air out. Finally I called the front desk and they said they would send maintainance down. Well 45 minutes later they arrived. (11:00pm) It took 20-25 minutes to fix it and almost an hour before room cooled a little. Fan ran all night, very noisy. Then in the morning key card machine quit working, so couldn't get in my room. This time help came right away. Bad experience!

Rough on the outside but nice inside

Pros: Location.
This is an older hotel. The parking lot and public entry areas have not been updated, however, the room was very comfortable and had a fridge and microwave. They have a great bar there, very comfortable. The restaurant breakfast was salty (eggs benedict). The hot tub/sauna room was locked and said it was being updated (didn't look like anything was being done).

Loud, no room cleanings, restaurant was horrible

The whole experience was bad. We didn't get our room cleaned, they never had towels cleaned and dried, the pool had so much chlorine it was unbearable, the rooms are not fully renovated, the bath tub fixtures were falling apart, the noise from just people going in and out was so loud, it smelled horrible too the restaurant was a joke, we had our 1 1/2 year old with us and waited over an hour for our food, the server never checked on us, didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink except the water and coffee the hostess brought us, didn't let us know the food was coming out slow even though they had maybe 6 tables in the whole place with 2-3 people, when they did bring out the first thing a bagel it was frozen in the middle the server was rude when we told her and they didn't offer to even bring toast or anything when they saw our daughter getting antsy and they also didn't have over half the menu items in stock needless to say we walked out and didn't have breakfast. If you are thinking it looks great from the pictures think again. I wouldn't recommend that place for even a night.

Check in took way too long, but hotel was great!

Nice place. Check in took over 30 minutes. There was a huge line and only one front desk staff. They need to have someone to help up front or able to call to check people in. When you've been on the road and just want to get to ur room and having to wait that long is ridiculous!

Hotel Staff did everything they could to make the stay pleasant However the management needs to be fired!! On a weekend when every hotel in Casper was full this hotel was understaffed. Check-in took hours of standing in line to find out that rooms were not ready. We arrived at 3pm and didnt get into our room until 730 pm. .

Overwhelmed

We stayed while a statewide school track was going on. Hotel is ok . Our room was nice and bed was new and comfortable. Down fall was not enough stay to keep up. We went without towels and no bedding for the sofa bed.

Was this room cleaned prior to arrival?

Upon our arrival there was a long wait to get checked in because there was only 1 person at the desk. It was late afternoon so there were many people in line. Finally, a 2nd person came from the back and started helping. When we got to the desk, they could not find the pre-paid reservation I made through Expedia. We had to give them our printed confirmation, they finally found it, but then had to do some process to verify that it was paid. We got to the room and saw that there was debris all over the floor. There was no shower curtain on the handicapped roll in shower, and only 1 coffee cup. I told the front desk person about it. We went to bed assuming they would take care of it in the morning. The next day, after coming back from an activity, the room still hadn't been cleaned. All the wet towels from having no shower curtain were still in a pile on the floor and the same debris that was on the floor on check in was still there. (Leafs etc) There were no coffee cups now because we used 1, and the trash wasn't emptied. I called the front desk and they said they'd take care of it. We went out again and came back before dinner. It was still not taken care of. I called and spoke to who was in charge. He sent someone to clean and put shower curtain up. The next day, the room did not get cleaned? No fresh towels. We even saw housekeepers in the hall at 5pm and they said they were getting to it. Roll in shower causes water to get all over. They never came.

Clean, comfortable. Only gave us half a roll of toilet paper. Turned thermostat to 68 and woke up sweating with room at 77. Shower water Luke warm.

Old hotel, says remodeled,but not really.

Pros: It's in a good location, they have mini golf and a small Arcade that was fun. Golf was 6 dollars per person.
Cons: Breakfast needs improvement, cleanliness needs help. And don't advertise remodeled room if all you do is scrape the popcorn ceiling, and paint.
Location: Good location
Rooms are partially remodeled. Old carpet. Heater vents are caked with dust. My room could of used a better cleaning. It wasn't too bad but definitely not clean. Tub took a long time to drain so when you take a shower your standing in 2 inches of water. The worst part was the heater. The thermostat didn't work so the heat was either off or on making it way too hot or way too cold. Hotel is noisy also from people in the hall to trains crashing together. I would not stay here again. One more thing. There is a breakfast but you have to pay. 10 for adults, 7 for children. It was not only expensive but one of the worst hotel buffets I have ever seen. There were some kind of sausage links that weren't completely cooked and all white. Over cooked bacon. Scrambled eggs that were the worst I've ever eaten, stale cereal, fruit was ok. Potatoes were ok.
