Pros: The area
Cons: The outside door needed replacing, the damp sorting and the bedding replaced regularly.
Location: Walking was very enjoyable, eating was enjoyable.
The area was nice and staff were excellent the disappointment was with the room due to the gaps in the outside door we experienced visitors of animal sorts and a drop in the temperature in the night. The double room wall was damp and black mould the bed needed regular change of mattress and pillows as they stunk of sweat and this doesn't go well when your asthmatic. They had no smoking restrictions and this made time at the pool restricted for us due to asthma.

Not good if touring rome

Posted May 6, 2017
Cons: add english to the menu. maybe some pictures of your food. prepare food properly. wash hands wear gloves. the wifi only worked near reception area
The main problem was the location. If you are planning any tours in rome the shuttle doesn't start until 8 am. it takes anywhere from 1 to 2 hours to get anywhere using the transit system that includes walking up hill for 20 minutes. not to bad if you are young. allitle difficult when you are 60. might be ok if you have a vehicle.to start with I didn't expect much for the price. I did expect towels for the room, you couldn't even rent someTowels. The mattress was basically one step up from a box spring but again you get what you Pay for.. the staff in the store was great. the Waitress in the restaurant was good. they didn't have a menu in english. and apparently didn't Care to assist you in ordering.. when you asked they just walked away as if they were disgusted. It was a very unpleasant experience. The cook was a disgrace. the one cooking the meat. however i never saw him actually cook anything. He never washed his hands. he would Play with the Meat. loaded wood in the fire. never put any barrier between his hands and the food. no gloves etc. so that stopped me from ordering any meat. the pasta and pizza was Just OK. Now for the pool it was closed . the disco was closed for the first 2 days i was there. (monday and tuesday). they told me it would have a band the next two nights. I stayed for a 3rd night. the disco was open and was a disappointment. no band seen but i only stated 10 minutes and left that was about 10:30 pm.it must be great in the summer.

Nice experience in the woods

Posted Apr 6, 2017
Pros: The staff at the restaurant and bar.
Cons: wifi conection and shuttle service availability. The person that gave us the number to call for the return shuttle never talked when we called him.
Location: The location is perfect to relax
The experience was great, howeverthey should aware the clients about some issues as: wifi availability just in common areas, shuttle service not always available and check in time ending.

Great surroundings but that is all

Posted Oct 10, 2015
Beautiful surroundings but everything else is poor e.g. staff helpfulness, cleanliness and comfort. The room I had the mattresses were so lumpy from the springs I could barely sleep with cobwebs all over the place. The staff although they can be helpful as to which train/metro to get to places they are not helpful with getting to the site from the bus stop or train station which you cannot walk from (so bare that in mind as it is remote and quite far away from the centre of Rome, most companies do not pick up or drop off at this site including transfers)

Bit of a party place

Posted Jul 8, 2015
This really is a village. Our little hut was very small, next to no walking room but the bed was comfy. WiFi is limited to certain areas. The showers were beyond wonderful and everything was pretty clean. The bar at the top of the hill is a great place to meet people from all over the world. Nice place and very cheap!

camp site

used as a stop over for visiting rome, 2 euros on the train to the center of rome takes about 25 minutes, the camp site drops you of at the station, stayed in a cabin which had washing and toilet facilities
