We had a beautiful room facing an open hall. Old, elegant architecture. Reception was welcoming. Location is central to St. Mark's, the Arsenale and other places we wanted to go to.
Metropole is a beautiful, warm and friendly hotel in a prime location. The rooms are just what you would want from a Venetian hotel - almost. Bizarrely no coffee making facilities and given the cost of everything in Venice, a cuppa in your room would be nice. Overall a great stay though.
This is a wonderful location with so much to see and do. We enjoyed a photography walking tour one evening. Restaurants were lovely. Everything about this wonderful city was just perfect for our short but sweet stay.
We found the reception warm and inviting. Room very large by European standards. Breakfast outstanding. Not too keen on the side door entrance to the hotel. With no lift, the stairs were somewhat challenging. All considered this was a very satisfying three night stay.
We mostly enjoyed our stay here. The property is very pretty. The staff was mostly accommodating. We thought it very odd no one was at the hotel in the evenings. There was also no bar, which would have been nice, with their pretty patio and lobby. You would expect these things at a four star hotel. ...
I accidently rated the wrong hotel in my earlier review so am re-sending this review as I want to make sure to give credit where credit is due. This hotel was in a great location and had first rate service. The rooms were large and very comfortable. They had a true Italian flair to them. I would ...
It's all about the location with this convenient hotel situated directly on Riva degli Schiavoni overlooking the lagoon, just perfect for exploring the city, so beautiful. Some of the interiors a little tired.
The Bisanzio is located down a small alleyway away from the hustle and bustle. We arrived by water taxi from the airport and were dropped off within a hundred yards of the hotel which has a relaxing old world charm. Our Superior Double room was comfortable but was relatively basic. The reception ...
The staff was the most helpful group I have dealt with. From the pre-check in when we need an information through check-in and the day we left and the desk clerk helped usout to the water taxi. we were very impressed. Breakfast spread was incredible. Meat cheeses eggs cereal a plethora a bakery items ...
The Savoia & Jolanda is a 5 minute walk from the Doges Palace and St Mark's Square. On the water front, it has the San Zaccaria Vaporetto stop in front of the hotel which provides an ideal start to your exploration of Venice. The hotel is very well presented and the staff are extremely helpful. The ...
Perfect location, Far enough away from the crowds but close enough to walk everywhere. Stephano and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and beautiful with great views of the grand canal. The suite is a little more but well worth the expense.
it was nice to wake up and get your day started and yet even have some coffee and breakfast. Staff was pleasant and overall a good experience
A really good option for Venice because it's right near Rialto bridge. Apartments are spacious and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Breakfast replenished daily. Quiet and helpful staff. Recommended.
This was my first time to Venice, and this hotel was an amazing surprise. This week I was in Barcelona and Rome, and I am very critical of hotels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room....wow! 5th for double room, with quaint shutters that open up directly over the canal and bridge. ...
We ended up staying in the main hotel instead of the suite. I blame Expedia for making the booking but giving us bad information. The hosts were very apologetic and showed us how to get from the suite to the main hotel which was about a 20 minute walk. The room was very clean and well put together. ...
The staff was wonderful., very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was located in the heart of the action, next to San Marcos with many cafes and shops steps away. For me the drawbacks were that there was no refrigerator. I like to keep water cold and don't always finish ...
