“This lovely villa is the ideal venue for family gatherings. It is a wonderful location, in rural Tuscany close to Lucca with fantastic views. The host Franco was very helpful and responsive to any concerns .The infinity pool is a perfect size and much enjoyed by all. The villa and annexe were both spotless. ”

“Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Die Gastgeberin war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.In der schönen Ferienwohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht.Fahrtzeit nach Pisa 1 Stunde 45 Minuten und Florenz 1 Stunde 25 Minuten. Nachts die Serpentinen hoch ist ein kleines Abenteuer, da allerhand Wild unterwegs ist.”

“Fantastisch verblijf met een heerlijke tuin met verschillende plekken om te zitten. Mooi uitzicht en allerlei olijf- en fruitbomen om je heen. Alles is aanwezig in het huis en de eigenaresse is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.”

“Nous avons passés 2 semaines dans la casa Mimi afin de visiter la Toscane et ce reposer. Je dirais que l'annonce correspond exactement à la réalité. L'accueil était parfait, les gens très sympathique. Nous avons profité de cette maison avec un soleil magnifique, c'est un endroit central pour visiter la Toscane. “This stay was idyllic and everything that was promised. Privacy, serenity and beautiful surroundings. Loads to do in the area and off the beaten track enough to have a sanctuary from tourism. Susan was the hostess with the mostess. Always there for suggestions, but never intruding. Her family are quintessential Italian and we loved hearing her grandchildren calling each other across the garden, hearing the neigh of the horses and next doors donkey in the distance. If you like some solitude……

“We were awe stricken upon arrival. This home was even better in person. There was one morning when there were low clouds in the valley and we ate on the patio seemingly above the clouds. The views were spectacular. The drive to the home is typical, switchbacks, tight curves and elevation gain. The nights at the main house were cool and comfortable. The pool was always refreshing after our daily adventures. There is a bathroom by the pool for convenience too. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table……

“Relaxing, peaceful, remote location, which can be easily accessed from Pisa / Florence by car. Fantastic views across the valley. Hosts were great at communicating, before and during the stay. Would recommend for an older family that wants to get away from it all. ”
