A good hotel in a good location

Posted Aug 1, 2016
Pros: Nice all around, good breakfast on upper terrace. Rooms comfortable and pretty modern.
In the middle of Marinella Selinunte, this hotel is close to excellent beaches (they offer free shuttle services but it's only 700 meters to the reserve) and also an easy walk to the magnificent archeological park. Our room had a balcony overlooking the town and the port. Lots of eating options in town, as well as in hotel.

Great hotel close to the Archeological Site

Posted Feb 25, 2016
Pros: Location, cleanliness.
Cons: The restaurant menu was limited and very expensive.
I got into Marinella di Selinute and did not notice until the next morning that there was a good view of the major temple on the archeological site from the breakfast room of the hotel. The hotel is modern and very clean.

The hotel was pleasant and well situated

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: see earlier comments
Location: The location was good within walking distance of local town and beaches with good views.
Overall the hotel was ok. Disappointed that we could only access the wifi in the reception area and not in our room and that the TV system needed updating so we could change the language setting. The menu was pretty much the same every day and we didnt feel good value for money.

Friendly hotel in good central position

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: We liked the convenient position of this hotel and found it extremely clean and comfortable.
Cons: Choice of food in the hotel restaurant was a bit disappointing . The road outside the hotel was noisy so the balcony wasn't a peaceful place to sit.
Location: Restaurants and Pizzerias within a few minutes walk. Beach and fishing harbour only a few minutes walk , as was a small supermarket.
Very clean and comfortable room with a wonderful big balcony with views of the beach and harbour below. It took only a few minutes to walk down the steps from the hotel to the harbour and beach, with its' good choice of restaurants . The archaeological site at Selinunte was about 15 minutes walk away and a fascinating visit. Breakfast was a real bonus as this was served in the open air roof terrace with its great view of the sea and harbour below. There was lovely fresh fruit, croissants, bread , jams , cakes , cheeses, eggs, ham . This was one of the best parts of the day. We would also recommend the starter buffet in the hotel restaurant , for its good choice of tasty starters , although the choice of main course dishes was a little limited.

Very nice modern hotel with lovely views from the breakfast room of the ancient temples. Main restaurant bit of a let down.

Reasonable without being great

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: Clean, good-sized room, balcony. (Ours faced towards the famous ruins.) The breakfast room had a great view.
The hotel was clean and fine, with a reasonable view from the balcony, but it lacked charm. The city itself might buzz in summer but was pretty rundown and unattractive out of season.

Room with biggest terrace ever

Posted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: The room, the location and the great view
Cons: Breakfast could have a bit more savoury and include eggs
Location: Go to Selununte and take the golf buggy to get around, the site is amazing and huge so don't attempt to walk it especially in summer.
Wanted hotel to visit Selununte. Perfect location a hotel with a beautiful view of Marinella a lazy little fishing village. Go up to the roof to see the view of the Temple, it's amazingly just 500m away. The breakfast was adequate.... Full of vvv sweet things. Guess hotel is about 20 years old and is slightly warm but quite quite comfortable. Our terrace think Room 305 was huge and went around the corner and was as big again. Check in staff and everyone were very welcoming no problem and let us in the room early.

Very good location

Posted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: Everything
Location: Location excellent , swim, fish, sail, walks, beach, visit archeological sites. Restaurants, bars, gift shops.
This hotel was my second and third nights of a ten night stay in Sicily. The location was perfect, near to beach/ marina. Many restaurants/bars to visit in and around area, also nice and relaxed/ quiet. The breakfast was on rooftop terrace ( lift access) very good choice for breakfast. Also large area on roof for sun terrace with sun loungers. View of ancient ruins. The room was very comfy with fridge/ mini bar. Balcony facing sea and marina. Nice ground floor bar and dinning room, large and comfy reception area. Outside there is a large decking area overlooking sea with furniture to lounge around. Parking right outside door. Overall I was very happy to stay in this hotel, would have been happy to stay longer. Not expensive either.
