A delightful hotelPosted Jul 19, 2017
Pros: A lovely hotel with a welcoming feel.Helpful, polite and smiling staff throughout the hotel and restaurant.Spacious, clean room, comfortable bed.
Cons: Cup of tea with milk is not normal in Budapest-mainly fruit teas. The hospitality tray would be better if it addressed this, however the coffee is tasty
Location: On the side of the hill in the Buda palace area-the heart of the historical tourist area.Walk over Chain bridge to Pest side and shops, monuments, cafes
This hotel is in a lovely quiet walkable area.Buda palace area on the doorstep. All staff friendly and professional, room clean, bright and spacious.Bathroom clean with a deep bath and a hairdryer.Housekeeping evryday.Plenty of shelf and wardrobe space with lots of hangers.Restaurant attached is very popular and on our visits there the food was tasty and the service good.Free coffee and soft drinks were available every day between 11am and 5pm in the reception area-a nice treat. There is a lift to all floors .Breakfast is served in the restaurant and is a mix of continental and cooked-all self service.Air con in the room is most welcome as the hotel does get very warm .

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms next to castlePosted Jun 7, 2017
The 10-year old hotel has comfortable accommodations with an excellent restaurant just outside the castle walls. The staff is friendly and helpful and most speak English. The breakfast had a good selection of breads, cheeses, and meats as well as eggs, yogurt, fruit, and cereal. The room we had included a desk with chair and additional chair. The linens and towels could use updating. A great choice for those who prefer the relaxed pace of Buda and proximity to the castle over the noisier Pest side.

Lovely small hotel close to castlePosted Jun 3, 2017
A lovely small hotel, rooms are spacious & ours had a lovely open deck/balcony. There is a lovely little restaurant attached which we would recommend. Nice location close to the castle & lovely cobbled streets with restaurants bars & cafes. Not too far to the nearest metro station (which we used several times) & shops/supermarket etc., although perhaps a bit far to tow your suitcase.

A Short Walk from the Castle Hill Area in Buda.Posted Apr 23, 2017
Pros: It's location, ambiance and reasonable cost.
Cons: In my opinion, nothing, it was a perfect place to stay.
Location: Many sights, including Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion are must see sights within a 10 minute walk of the hotel.
We were warmly greeted at the check in desk by a lovely young lady who gladly assisted us with our luggage and clearly explained the nuances of using the access card to enter the room. The hotel is located near the Vienna Gate for easy access to the sights on Castle Hill. We highly recommend this hotel if your planning a visit to Budapest. Another benefit of the hotel is the Riso Ristorante where you can get your breakfast or any other meals. Outstanding food and service.
