The girl who checked us in kept calling me “doll”, “hon”, “sweetie”, and overall spoke to me as if I were timid preteen. It soured the entire experience. Even my 10 and 13 year old girls noticed and thought it was strange.

Dear Valued Guest, I have noticed that as well. She learned that from an older lady who works in the mornings. It is also partly her personality. I can see how someone may feel that it is a little overly friendly or familiar. Overall, my guests think she is fantastic and that her sense of customer service is terrific. I also feel that she is fabulous with my guests. I will mention to her that perhaps she can tone it down a little. I am sorry that had a negative effect on your experience. We do appreciate your business.

Very nice hotel close to shopping and restaurants. Very comfortable.

It's an old property. The room furnishings are the old standard dingy Formica type. Bed was ok..The room doors slam like bejesus when closing and that goes on all nite..Breakfast was meager and the staff couldn't keep up with the coffee pots. Front desk folks were good. There are many other much newer motels in the immediate area .

Very nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone traveling through Castle Rock.

The hotel is conveniently located but noisy when we were there. It took several calls to the front desk and a trip to the lobby before staff could get the noise level in the room above us to subside.

Dear Barbara, I apologize for the noise you experienced. We did have a sizable group in house over the dates of your stay, that were here for the State Wrestling Championships. The young competitors can get a little rambunctious. Normally the hotel is a very quiet establishment.

The rooms were large and well kept and the beds were comfortable. I was especially impressed with the level of customer service. Everyone was extra nice and helpful. Upon checkout (at 5am), we received a breakfast bag with a bar, fruit, and water. Their regular breakfast was fresh and delicious. For the price, I was expecting far less but was so pleasantly impressed. I even left something very important in the room and they made sure it was kept safe until a family member could pick it up. In addition, there are a ton of restaurants and shopping within 5 minutes of hotel. Definetly good for a family!

We had great stay. Had our dog and they were kind enough to put us by an exit door for easy outside potty access.

Pictures of the hotel should be updated. The pool and spa are in terrible upkeep. I was very disappointed with the condition. We wouldn’t even get in either one. The staff was excellent so that made the stay better. The room was nice and clean. However the water pressure in the shower was bad. It took forever to get my hair wet all the way and I thought I would never get the soap out. Was not happy. Wish I would of stayed across the street at Hampton Inn.

This hotel is very good with a great value. It is quiet but near to shopping, restaurants, and easy access to the Interstate.
