Would not stay again

Posted Jun 17, 2017 on Hotels
I found the staff were rude, the car park ticket system was not easy. The rooms were nice and comfortable. They are renovating the corridors. But no hot water one day, I was late for a meeting. The phone in the room kept ringing constantly and no one was there, it had a fault, i had to unplug it. I wouldn't stay again.

The hotel was close to city. Handy for restaurant

Posted Apr 10, 2017 on Ebookers
Pros: Breakfast and Wifi were great
Cons: Cleanliness of entrance and the carpets could need to be shampooed Beds (twin) less movement and far too narrow
Location: Wonderful restaurants around Museum of Science and The crystal maze experience. Walking distance from shopping centre. We were able to Uber to OT
For the money spent twin beds were far to narrow and kept moving. The staff were very friendly accommodating and always on hand. The facilities ie pool was great to be able to use and good Breakfast. A shame the very dated carpets on the staircase Not very clean

Castle field hotel, Liverpool rd, Manchester m3

Posted Apr 6, 2017
Pros: Very good value.
Location: Next to Manchester history/science museum which is well worth a visit. MEN Arena's 20 min walk. Coach station is 15 min walk. Akbhars curry close by
Great value hotel. Clean and tidy, helpful staff and great location for a good stay in Manchester. I would recommend it, ideal for a comfortable stay with access to pool and gymn next door. Shops, pubs, restaurants etc all within walking distance. Food at the hotel wasn't bad value, though menu slightly limited, otherwise couldn't fault it.
