great location

Pros: Location
Cons: Air Conditioning in all the rooms. This would help with the noise since the hotel is on a main street and next to a take out pizza place.
Staff was very nice. The rooms were not equally equipped. of the 3 rooms we had only two with air conditioning. One of the rooms had a micro wave and refrigerator, The rooms were all the same price but did not have the same amenities. Only one of our three rooms was ready on time. Think it is a little understaffed.

Great location, very nice staff

the hotel is very close to the beach, Is clean and their staff is very friendly, room prices are affordable I will recommend this to friends and family.

The manager is so nice! We arrived so lated because we change the Catalina express time. The manager call us and help us to handle the check in.

Uncomfortable room

Our room was clean but the large fan that was on top of the dresser did not keep up cool during the day or night also we had trouble sleeping because the window blinds (no drapes) did not keep out the light from the outside lights that blinked every so often. In hide sight I would have paid a few dollars more to have slept better.

Repairs and updating needed

Upon arrival we saw the front facade being upadated, not a problem. The staff was courteous as expected. Once we got into our room, we noticed it was hot inside and there was no AC, Expedia ad says it had AC. No problem just open the window and let the cool air in. This let the AC motor noise from other rooms into ours. Loud drunk guests coming in for the night could clearly be heard. There was no microwave until we asked, the closet light fixture was missing it's cover, and the smoke alarm was chirping for a new battery. The shower control wasn't working right and needs to be replaced. The bathroom window was too large and awkward, opening from the bottom at toilet seat level which was right next to the window. Guest shouldn't have to ask to fix things.

Older hotel a little on the quirky side.

Pros: Central location.
Cons: Modernization.
Only here for a quick overnight stay. Could store luggage prior to check in. Desk staff not too guest oriented. Continental breakfast OK. Had room on third floor - no elevator. Room and bathroom OK. Old fashioned key lock on room door. Good location on side street but no balcony. Just a tiny peek-a-boo view of ocean.

Hotel with convenient location

Glenmore Plaza Hotel was very conveniently located, just steps from the beach and centrally located to the shops restaurants and the pier. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and professional. The lobby carpet was stained and there is incomplete construction in the front but the convenience and other amenities such as complimentary storage and taxi to the port made up for that. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

WHAT A JOY.

THE STAFF WAS SO ATTENTIVE. THEY MADE EVERYTHING SO EASY FROM BEING PICKED UP FROM THE EXPRESS FLYER AND ANSWERING ANY OF OUR MANY QUESTIONS. THE BED WAS SO COMFY AND THE PILLOWS ARE PERFECT. VERY COMFORTABLE. CAN HARDLY WAIT TO RETURN.
