The room was nice and clean with amazing tall ceilings! The air conditioning kept the room cool. Close by to the main area with all the shops and restaurants. Communication with the host Teresa was easy. She prepared a wonderful breakfast, and I was amazed at how she conversed in several languages with the different guests at the breakfast table! I recommend this b&b, especially for solo travelers and couples.

Siamo atterrati all’aeroporto di Catania alle 22:30 per un ritardo dell’aereo che ha avuto un problema tecnico. La signora Teresa non ci ha permesso di fare il check-in perché secondo lei era troppo tardi e non ci ha permesso di fare un self check-in. Ci ha detto di prenotare altrove e di chiedere il rimborso del mancato pernottamento alla compagnia aerea. Fortunatamente abbiamo trovato una sistemazione all’ultimo minuto dove siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e flessibilità.

Buonasera, capisco la sua frustrazione...oramai cercate conforto e ,,scaricate tutto sul web...ma non capisco la sua ignoranza...é scritto da oltre 17 anni che il ns check in è fino alle h 21....Non facciamo self check in..in quanto noi siamo un vero BB..non un fake one...dove a qualsiasi ora lei entra con un codice....forse sarebbe piu' opportuno quando si prenota....vedere quali sono le condizioni..del luogo che si è scelto per soggiornare....anzicchè esternare la propria ignoranza sul web....Se siete atterrati alle h 22,30...non sareste arrivati al BB prima delle h 23,30/24,00Le ho consigliato io stessa che forse sarebbe stato piu' logico prenotare in un albergo dell'aereoporto... consiglio che lei ha accettato a quanto pare!!!!!!Se dando questo punteggio la sua frustrazione si è allegerita...si sente meglio....allora welcome!!!!All the bestTeresa

Our flight arrived late and we didn’t arrive until almost 11:00 p.m. Teresa waited up late to let us in and to show us everything. She had also given us the number of a taxi company that would be waiting for us. Our room was lovely and the living area and kitchen. The views from out 3 balconies were of a beautiful church and the street scenes below. Very convenient area- can walk to many restaurants and historical sites. Very nice breakfast in a very quaint kitchen/dining area with beautiful antiques. I definitely recommend BNB Croceferi.

Gem of a Bed and Breakfast located in heart of historic district. Teresa, the host, is terrific and accomodating. Dining options all around. 10 minute walk to Fish Market. 3 minute walk to major street with everything you need. Still, quiet and a nice place to calll home. If you have light bags, spring for the top floor apartment. Have to walk up bags last 20 or 25 steps.

The room was awkwardly set up, there aren’t tables by the side of the bed and there aren’t a lot of outlets. All of the outlets that were in use required adapters. The cover of the bed had stains. The couple running the place was lovely. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. Great location though.

in Any case..thank you for your feedback..The room was awkwardly set up: All our rooms are photpgraphed on the various online sites as they are...if you don't like like the classic antique style....odf course you choos the wrong place... Nxt time make more attention to the furniture... About all sockets: we live in Italy..and if guests don't have their own adaptor...just ask..we have several once....for our guests...for using during is staying....Breakfast: it's depend on your palate: if your palate is abituated to ,,junk food,, surely organic food is not for you...on our table: different flavours of marmelade, variety of local cheese, various meet, freshly squeezed orange juice ( in season) and bread baked in an stone ofen on olives wood...Perhaps for you it would have been more appropriate industrial white bread with ketschup and cappuccino!!!!But I saw that you liked (finally) our eggs!!!!!Bed cover: I checked:::I didn't see any stains...(althoug is it in a laundry) the one that you saw..are not stains..but the embroidered design..For your next travel take better a look...before you reserve..or take a time to have a look...you reserve in January..so you had time to take a look of our awkwardly set up rooms!!!!!all the bestTeresa

Brilliantly located. Fab host. Highly recommend
We stayed in a fabulous, comfortable room and were well looked after by our host, Teresa. Main sites are easy walking distance, as are a wide range of bars and restaurants. The B&B is on a pedestrianised street so you don't have to worry about noise even though you're central (there are only three or four bars on the whole street, they don't attract a large or raucous crowd and they close promptly). Breakfast was lovely and served in Teresa's beautiful kitchen. Teresa and her husband also very helpful with advice re excursions, restaurant recommendations and taxis etc. Will stay here again if/ when we return to Catania. Nigel

Elegance and community
I elected this B&B for location in the historic center during the Festival of Sant'Agata, and because I loved the historic elegance of the rooms I saw in the photos. I was amazed to find how Teresa created such a welcoming environment for all the guests. I actually ended up taking a day trip with two women I met over breakfast! Teresa provided all the advice we needed for our stay. But I still enjoyed the luxurious privacy of my spacious room, with a tea tray, television, balconies, and excellent bedding. I am returning with my husband soon!

Owner was not helpful in any way. Did not want to be bothered trying to answer any questions. Only offered two restaurants, no directions, and not helpful with questions about the area and things to do or see. Room was Hot and provide only one small soap!

Hallo Alan, or maybe is more appropriate to call you both Pinocchio...You can't pretend that I,m must be your private guide....I had other 11 people for check in..and you are always asking...about information that I gived to you..but you are not following my suggestion...and for your knowledge there are lot of Lonely Planet guide at home in many languages....for guests...you are very nervous because your phone doesn't work...and given me the answer: I never have to ask!!!! this in Italy is a spot for razor blades..so make up your mind...did you asked ...or not...this is the question.......Modern Shakespeare...all the bestTeresaPS: about AC: you know exactly how it works...and you can't pretend 24h aircondition by a daily rate of 45,00/person including breakfast..people are not coming to stay all the time in the room as you...there is a lot to discover outside...

The place was wonderful, comfortable, clean, close to the city center, and the service and breakfast were also excellent. Very friendly, in a ZTL so you will need a taxi to get there, but it shouldn't cost more than 25 Euro from the airport. Not a close walk to the beach, but manageable if you really want.

Two nights in Catania
We spent two nights in this hotel. The room was very ornate and had many interesting artefacts. The balcony and French Windows overlooked a church and resterant and we watched the locals directing people trying to park in the busy street below for a small fee. Breakfast was served in the kitchen by Teresa and lovely china and linen adorned the table. Freshly made juices and an array of local cheese bread cakes etc were provided in abundance. Parking and driving in Catania was challenging and my husband opted to use the hotel parking facility for €10 a night which he thought a little expensive. Catania itself had many interesting sites but spoiled by graffiti. Also hungry refugees were very evident and the locals seemed inclined to ignore them.

Absolutely Magical!
This was a magical place to stay! The B and B is in an historic building in a charming and historic part of Catania, and our room balcony overlooked an old church. The room was so beautifully decorated with antique furniture, chinoiserie, and embroidered linens. The owner had beautiful taste! The 4 guest rooms belonged in Architectural Digest magazine, and had gorgeous architectural elements such as high ceilings and original tiles.... This B and B was so visually stunning that it should be a FIVE STAR hotel! The owner Teresa was warm, friendly and very helpful. She was always available to help us with recommendations, and her adorable doggie was on hand to play with us and to greet us with a warm welcome every time we returned to the hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic with home made cakes and other delights, and were served family style with the few other international guests staying at this intimate 4 room B and B. We can't wait to visit Teresa again!

Perfect choice
We were very happy with our choice - it was an easy walk from the B&B to the main sights and we had spacious, spotless and comfortable rooms with a great breakfast included. Our hostess could not have been more helpful, helped us orientate ourselves and made us all feel very welcome. My son even enjoyed playing the guitar that was left available for use!

Service Above and Beyond - Definitely Stay Here
This is a truly delightful place stay and we can't recommend it highly enough. We had the top floor (Leela), which included the lovely rooftop garden/terrace, and it was very comfortable with lots of space. Theresa, who runs the B & B, is the nicest, most helpful person you could hope to meet. The level of service from Theresa is above and beyond anything that I have experienced anywhere in the world. She even helped us after we had checked out and we left a bag in the taxi that dropped us off at the airport! Her breakfasts are excellent including some very lovely cakes!! If you are visiting Sicily and targeting Catania you must stay here

A gem!
Teresa and her beautiful B&B provided the perfect backdrop to our quick Sicily stay. The rooms and private bathrooms are beautiful, and Teresa is full of excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area. The location of this B&B is perfect; very near Via Etnea and all the exciting spots, but on a quiet street. Teresa went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, even waking up early on our first day so that we could drop luggage off before check-in so we didn't have to lug it on our tour of Mt. Etna and Taormina.

Beautiful B&B on historic street
We came from the airport already advised (by e-mail) by our hostess Theresa about how much the cab should charge! We received a prompt and very gracious welcome and assistance with luggage, and were shown into a very high-ceilinged and beautifully decorated suite of rooms with flower-laden French balconies overlooking the street. Each morning our hostess provided a lavish selection of breakfast choices and made introductions all around the table. She marked up a map of the town with attractions and recommended restaurants and was most helpful with any questions we had, as well as making arrangements for a wonderful tour of Etna for us. Throughout the stay, she was readily availble and extremely helpful. We hope someday to return to Catania and would not dream of staying anyplace else.

Superb bed and breakfast
Really beautiful bed and breakfast with exceptional hostess. (I do not use these words lightly) Teresa is the ideal hostess looking out for everything you might want, prepares a fantastic breakfast, and is there to answer whatever questions you might have or suggest things to do. The room itself was amazing as to comfort but also to style, decor, you were really in a Catanian palace. There are only three rooms so you will have to be lucky like we were to stay here. The location is excellent as well, easy walk to the touristic center.

In the heart of Catania!
Owners were great. We had to get up at 5:00 am to catch our flight. They were up and made sure we were out on time - after making sure the taxi they had procured for us was ready and waiting. Only downside was not getting to enjoy the breakfast — which I am sure would have been delighful.

We would say thei highlight was the personal touch of Teresa and Marco who are wonderful hosts. We took the recommended Etna hike and it was a once in a lifetime thrill. Believe them when they say it's something special.

We had an incredible night at this B&B. It was the perfect place to relax after a week long vacation. It was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The bathroom was exceptional with a full rain shower. Best of all, Teresa went above and beyond as a hostess. She answered all of our sight-seeing questions, offered to set up excursions, and even helped us shop for a very specific necklace. I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and this is hands down my favorite B&B. I look forward to the chance to stay here again.

An elegant B &B in Catania
We arrived before check in time and they held our luggage so we could tour the city. They were very helpful in directing us to the fish market and to restaurants. The room was beautiful with a large balcony facing a lovely church. Our breakfast was excellent with a variety of meats, cheeses and sweets. The hostess even called a cab to take us to the car rental office.
