Friendly hotel in a good locationPosted May 25, 2017
Pros: Marco and Domenico's helpfulness and friendliness- they made us feel very welcome.
Cons: Instructions on how to use TV remote as we could not access any channels..
Location: Very central location with shops and restaurants nearby. It is also a brilliant location for the Bellini public gardens and the botanical gardens.
Great customer service from Marco and Domenico and team. Safe base in a convenient location for exploring Catania. Rooms were big with high ceilings and bathroom had a very efficient shower. Breakfast was plentiful and served with style and courtesy.

ComfortablePosted Apr 19, 2017 on Hotels
Very friendly staff in a boutique hotel (although I would call it more of a guest house than a hotel). Breakfast was continental (breads, fruit, cereals, yoghurt). The building was obviously a very old Italian style with just 1 floor converted into hotel rooms with very high ceilings. In our room (no.8) the balcony had scaffolding covering it, making it not really usable & the TV did not work, but we got strong WiFi as we were almost next to the Reception desk, which was manned 24-hours a day. If it is luxury (or restaurants, bars, gyms, etc.) that you are after, it is not the place for you, but we were made to feel very welcome & the room was comfortable enough.

Pros: THe hotel is in the centre of Catania, in the main shopping area. A large park is across the street.
Cons: The street entrance could be more welcoming, instead of through large (often locked) doors. Promenant signs would be appreciated/

The hotel is nice and clean, with very helpful, friendly staff. The lobby is one floor above street level, up four flights of stairs (no elevator). Look for signs directing to the lobby.
