I was a solo traveller and thoroughly enjoyed my five-day stay at the Cavan Crystal Hotel. My room was lovely, spacious, and spotless. All the staff were accommodating and friendly. A good choice of food for breakfast. I loved my daily cup of tea and biscuits in my hotel room. I particularly enjoyed the facilities at Zest Leisure Centre. The Gym, changing rooms and pool are kept to a good standard. It does say on the app that you need to wear a swimming hat, and I purchased this at the Leisure Centre Desk. The leisure centre can be busy in the evenings and certain parts of the day, so I would visit during quieter times—a lovely hotel in a good location.

This property was very nice. I only hope if you stay there is no wedding going on as the wedding guests were very noisy late into the night.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly and food delicious. The only down side being it was advertised that you could get a massage etc but unfortunately this was not the case.

Very nice and clean hotel
Very nice and clean hotel with good modern bedrooms. Good restaurant and bar, the food was very nice. Gym was a decent size and not too busy.

This hotel is fantastic. Rooms are very spacious and the beds are so big and comfy- no 2 single beds pushed together craic- full Superking beds. The food is excellent and the staff are brilliant! Lovely area outside to sit and eat or have a drink. The breakfast is delicious and great choice on menu. I stay here quite often and look forward to it every time.

Overnight stay in Cavan
Lovely one night stay. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food and breakfast was delicious. Spacious and comfortable room for 2 adults and 1 child. Pool not suitable for toddler as no child pool. Also was open to public classes etc so changing room was busy and time restricted as result of classes, so check in advance as suggested by reception. But overall ideal location and great hotel.

Wake up call was a hammer drill A boiler was being installed in the next room so i forgave the distruption for 2 hours at night but not at 7.15 in the morning. Reception were informed but not overly interested

Terrible room at a cost
Booked the room based on it saying room suitable for three people with a double and a single bed or two doubles. On arrival we were told well no we would have to charge per person so we had to pay another 69 euros and still ended up in a small room with a tiny window which sits about 7ft threw a gab and provides little or no light terrible to say the least but the receptionist wasn’t the frendltiest I mean it’s January things were dead and they stick us like that considering we eat there and the cost of the room it was terrible.

A truly remarkable establishment that provided comfort and services that i have not experienced in 5 star hotels. From the General Manager to Reception the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We will be back.
