“The room was very clean and tidy! Staff are very friendly, the breakfast is amazing very filling! And the parking is very easy too access but when there are a few guests staying the car park can get very tight, overall really good and best bit its only 17 mins drive too Alton towers from there ”

“Very impressed with The Manor. Super quiet location although in the centre of town. Room was spacious, clean and warm. Wi-fi worked well. Breakfast was delivered prompt (8-9am) with plenty to choose from. We only met the owner/manager who was very attentive and friendly. He also had lots of suggestions of things to do whilst visiting the area. Overall, it was good value for money and we’d stay again if back in the area.”

“Some fittings / furnishings need fixing. Very creaky flooring throughout. The only ‘blight’ of the otherwise excellent breakfast was the salty ‘processed bread’ - ‘brown’ isn’t the same as ‘granary’, ‘whole meal’ or ‘sourdough’!”

“Staff excellent, room very small no chair or even room for bags. Wifi in room also poor. Bar food and service excellent and the welcome pack and light breakfast choice good. Clean but the building is ageing. The steps to the rooms really need to be illuminated or there will be a fall”

“The room was huge the bed was huge and so comfortable staff were so helpful sort out early booking in as we had a wedding to go to, breakfast was good we really couldn't fault the place”

“I was welcomed to the property, shown to my room by a friendly and helpful lady. She explained about the shower, tea and coffee making, and how to access the property using the fob. There was also a written guide in the room. The problem I encountered was the small spotlights were flickering which made reading or knitting difficult so the first night I lay on the floor by the bathroom door to read as these lights did not flicker. On the second night a chair had been provided so I was able to……

“This is a charming country house and everyone was amazing. We enjoyed a walk around the property and the food was spot on. You can’t go wrong staying here if in the neighborhood. If you’re also familiar wrote ceramics, you’ll find several ships about 10-15 mins away that is a great place to browse and shop. ”

“Welcoming owners Helen and Andy provide a warm, comfortable and luxurious B&B in the heart of lovely Eccleshall. Helen's artsy skill are shared in abundance, with every little detail attended to. Our room overlooked the beautiful garden at the back of the property, adjacent to private car parking, and a gentle stroll down to the town. We plan to stay again, truly a delightful experience.”

“Great location, easy to get to, great big parking, nice little village with a Chinese takeout across the street, a Coop close by. Sadly the cleanliness of the room was poor. Grime in the bathroom where floor meets walls. Very dirty remote control, some kind of sauce spilled on the side of the chest of drawers. Bed linen clean and bed comfortable. The radiator nob not functioning as it should. Should have stayed two nights but left after the first. Sorry, but proper cleaning of the room is so……
