The place was nice, probably in 2005, but now it's rundown, hasn't been attended to in a very long time. All the joints in the bathroom are moldy, carpet is old, AC stunk the Room the first 6 hours, there's no showerhead, it's just a pipe sticking out the wall, I've had 5 different type of bugs, wifi is no good, no hand towel, no soundproofing it feels like your sleeping with the motorbikes. It's not good, keep looking, I'm sure the area has better to offer

Always a pleasant stay at castle peak.
I've been using this hotel since 2017 and have stayed numerous times and each time have enjoyed my stay and the staff there. Always so friendly and courteous at the front desk and all of the other stuff is always looking to help you. I love starting my day in the restaurant with the fruit platter.

Pretty nice hotel but needs some maintenance. Internet quality is poor, tv barely works, water pressure was low, lukewarm shower, sink faucet falling off, toilet flush kept getting stuck, safe batteries dead... some attention to detail needed. Also, staff refused to provide extra towels for the tiny pool. But, generally nice for the price and could be a gem with a little effort.

Every personnel was extremely courteous and professional. With restaurants in close proximity, it made the perfect transition hotel, while waiting for my flight out of Cebu. Reasonably priced.

I have been to Castle Peak for my third visit this year, the reason I keep coming back, is they have Fox News on the TV, which most Hotels don't have. My last visit had no Fox News on TV, which is very disappointing.

It’s not so quiet actually. It’s located on a very busy street so there’s constant street noise of honking. The housekeeping staff communicate by walkie talkie which they keep at an unreasonable high volume. You can hear the entire staff conversations from up and down the hallways. This goes on for HOURS everyday. It’s extremely difficult to take a nap here. There were no batteries in my room safe, so I locked everything in my luggage. I then requested room service. The housekeeper did NOT put batteries into the safe even though it was left open with the empty battery compartment easily seen. She also didn’t clean the coffee cups or replace the coffee packets/creamers/sugar. They don’t really care about their reviews. There was a problem for 3 days with another guest smoking in their room. The stench was annoying and I was developing a sinus & ear infection. When I repeatedly complained, they offered to provide air freshener. That is not effective in cleaning the air. They offered to put me in a different room, which was also unacceptable because I was on the 7th floor and didn’t want to be moved closer to the street noises on a lower level. It’s hard enough to sleep as it is. Basically they don’t enforce the no smoking rule and don’t care if other guests are annoyed by the smokers or their noisy communication with ridiculously loud walkie talkies.

Great location, nice people, good food. Laundry shop and convenience store are nearby. 9th floor bar has a great view along with drinks and food. The whole hotel suffers from delayed maintenance, but if you can look past that this is the place to stay in Cebu.

My room was decent with a fully modern bathroom. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room safe was easily big enough for all my valuables. And it is within walking distance of Ayala mall and a short distance to the SM mall. On top of that, it was a great value.

My experience at this property was okay. Convenient area to walk-commute within this part of the city—not too far from business district or the mall. Food prices in cafe and restaurant were reasonable and drink prices in the rooftop lounge were fine too.

I thought the staff was very friendly and understanding. Even when I didn’t need the room to be cleaned and they saw me they always asked did I need water and I said yes. When I make a trip back to the Philippines I’m definitely coming back to Castle Peak. Awesome people who work there!

Smell of mold. No windows in room. Elevator from 6th floor took no less than 5 minutes just to arrive. TV didn't work. When I called reception they said someone would come right up. 30 minutes later they stilled had not sent anyone. Room across the hall had open door with unkempt room entire stay.
