Relaxing vacation away from home.

Posted Apr 16, 2017
A nice waterpark resort/hotel. I cant say anything bad except that the buffet price was way too expensive. Good thing there are malls/restos near the resort if you're budget is tight. Nevertheless, this is a very relaxing holyweek vacation.

OK hotel lacking on service

Posted Apr 12, 2017
Pros: The staff at the buffet was very helpful and attentive to the needs of the guest. And the food was good for being buffet style.
Cons: Attentiveness of the pool staff.
Where to start. I was worried driving in because the neighborhood is less than great. But once in the resort we felt safe and choose not to venture out after talking to the staff about taxi's and them not being honest or safe all the time. The front desk staff was good and had no issues with checking in or out. The staff at the buffet was the best part of the trip. They provided the best service and were fast and happy. Anything that we asked for they were able to get for us. Melvin was our waiter for 2 of the nights and I was sad that he wasn't there our last night to thank him for everything he had done. The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed the water slides. The first day we were there the lazy river was closed, the next day there were not enough floats for everyone so we had to wait an hour to get on. We were sorry that we did. It was like being tortured. The jets that spray on you are not relaxing but more painful. The service at the pool was also horrible we had to track down the servers to order the food and then track them down again to clean up the plates. Our room felt dated and small. We are a family of 4 and when we got to the room there were only 2 towels. We called down for more towels and water and left for the pool. When we came back the towels and water weren't there and when we called down again it took another hour and 3 trips from the staff to get everything we needed. The kids had fun but I don't know if we'd go back.

You breath, you pay

Posted Apr 3, 2017
This is a overrated hotel. There is nothing great in it, is just average. Only positive point is their very friendly staff. In addition to it, if you want to do anything else than be at the pool you have to pay. Even the shuttle from the airport is charged to you!!! Clients are mainly Korean, so you might know that is very Korean oriented. I was honestly very disappointed.

Hotel that has it all

Posted Feb 18, 2017
Pros: pleasant staff, medical center available, accomodating. it is really a 5 star hotel as room and all amenities are perfect.
Cons: price of buffet for Php1,900 is just too absurd. If reasonable price, much more guests will avail.
Location: near airport, restaurants, grocery, shopping
very nice facilities, evening shows (fire dance performance). very accomodating when they extended 1 hour on checkout for my son who has 2 small kids due to flight schedule. also provided medical assistance for free when my husband got sick.

A bit overcrowded/staff was always busy

Posted Nov 13, 2016
The hotel was nice, I would say it was the disney resort for Cebu City. Extremely kid friendly and breakfast buffet had a great variety. Checking in took almost an hour because they were so busy - they should have more people at the front counter ready for the beginning crowd check in especially if they know they have big parties (there was a wedding party checking in when we were).

Hotel Security and Expensive Facilities.

Posted Oct 11, 2016
Location: Jet skiing at another resort as J Park associated water sports do not allow you to use a jet ski alone.
Hotel is ok but very expensive for what you get. Restaurant very chaotic for what is a very expensive breakfast. Activities look better on line than actually when you are there. Security kept asking me and my partner to prove we were guest there but appeared not to ask everyone the same question. Set up for Koreans only. Watch out for un educated tricycle riders waiting outside the hotel who think its fun to shout insults at Westerners when you do not actually want to travel anywhere. Pleasant staff - except security.

Terrible Location Korean Holiday in Philippines

Posted Sep 30, 2016
Hotel rooms were of a 4 star standard. Most of staff also great Main feature is waterpark which we went for our kids. There are height restrictions on the 3 main slides so if your kids are under 4ft then they'll be disappointed. Although there's a small kids area as well. Life guards are unpleasant and arw the fun police kids ant jump in pools and you are not allowed to swum in the sea with kids floatation rings that you purchase yourself. Hotel and location is setup for Korean tourists, from the food at resort to everything outside of resort restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Outside the resort is terrible as soon as you leave the secure gates it's non-stop hassling from hawkers to go island hopping, taxis, buy from shops really annoying and prices are all high. Mangoes in season and everywhere are close to USD4! They grow wildly everywhere. Other parts of Philippines I was paying USD75 cents at tops. Overall unless you want purely an expensive confined resort holiday feeling like you are in Korea but not then consider, otgerwise look for other alternative destinations and resorts.
