UniquePosted Mar 7, 2018
Pros: The friendliness of the owners.
Location: The town is an easy access from the B & B and the winery and staff very good.
This B & B was very unique. The owners were very friendly and provided a nice home away from home atmosphere. We would recommend it for travelers to Nevada.

Gorgeous bed and breakfastPosted Jan 20, 2018
This is a beautiful B&B with the greatest themed rooms. When we arrived the owners greeted us warmly and friendly and let my son pick out which room he wanted. He picked the Sherwood Forest themed room because of the log furnishings. They told us they were making mint brownies when we arrived, our favorite, and after they finished baking they brought us some right to our room. Loved every minute and can't wait to schedule another stay.

Quirky place with great foodPosted Nov 25, 2017
Pros: It was a concept B&B and the owners put a lot of thought into the concept. made for a quirky room, and the food was fabulous.
Location: It is in Utah, so Mormon country; outdoor activities, university town, saw my first college football game. Fun.
Thoroughly enjoyable; It was late autumn so summer activities were over, but there was College football which i had never experienced and the excitement was infectious. The B&B was lovely - we stayed in the Robin Hood room featuring maps of Sherwood Forrest and the like. The owners were friendly and helpful, the food absolutely lovely. Internet access which is important for me was unproblematic and fast. We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay and would definitely consider returning, in particular to see the Cedar City Shakespeare festival. I would also stay at Amid Summer's Inn again.

Location: Perfect location in the lovely town of Cedar City.
Hosts were wonderful, room was charming with so much thought and character, and food was delicious. Hosts even helped us with ideas for the day and directions to get around.

We don’t ever stay at B&B’s but decided to give this place a try. Really nice, quiet & clean. Food was delicious and the owners were great. Plan to stay again on a future trip.

Great owners of this B&B.Posted Oct 7, 2017
Pros: Room decor was magnificent.
Cons: Food could be warmer. Difficult to keep everything hot with an extended breakfast period. A different source of heat for the food might be in order.
Location: Location was very convenient to find lunch and dinner. Close to NP's which was why we visited Cedar City.
We had a great visit in Cedar City, UT because of staying at this B&B. It was like staying with family. All of the guests at the time also were so friendly. The food was good. The room was an adventure itself with the motif being old time sailing vessel images on the walls and ceiling. Just great! Must have been fun for the owners to create such an interesting scenario. We will stay again in the future in fact we are contemplating hosting our children and their families there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in the next two years. Just have to see how things work out for everyone.
i would highly recommend a stay here.Posted Sep 29, 2017 on Hotels
Starlar and her husband made us feel very welcome when we arrived after being so cold on a long journey on our motorbike. The room was so unusual. We had the Robin Hood room and everything was inkeeping with that theme, including the green towels. Attention to detail was amazing. The home cooked breakfast was lovely and set us up nicely for our next days journey. Also, the owners gave us a few recommendations for places to eat that evening, which worked out great.

To stay or not to stay...Posted Aug 27, 2017
Super place to stay, especially if attending the Shakespeare Festival. Rooms are themed with decor ranging from the Sherwood Forest to Windsor. The owners are so kind and welcoming and even got up extra early to make sure we had breakfast before we left at 7:00 a.m. Walking distance to the theaters.
