SUU football stay

Our first room’s air didn’t work so we had to move rooms. Settled in now, but a rough stay so far. Not a bad hotel; comfortable, clean and a good deal.

Great breakfast, great hotel

Pros: Updated rooms and Breakfast
Cons: Turn up the heat in the pool
The rooms have been updated since the last time I stayed here. A lot nicer than I remember. The breakfast was really great. They had a little of everything and satisfied our pickiest eaters. The only critique would be the pool. It was too chilly for my taste, I hung out in the hot tub, but my kids didn't mind a bit. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Change

We had stayed in this hotel when it was still Days Inn, but it is a huge improvement since it changed to Clarion! Super clean! Remodeling was fantastic! Everything was super clean and staff was kind!

Great place to relax!

Pros: New facitlities or at least repaired recently. Good design. Very clean!
Cons: Staff to be little bit more smily and friendly!
Very convenient location! Wonderful full breakfast! Beddings comfortable, new and elegant!

Fantastic hotel!

Beautifully upgraded hotel for an amazing value. The area immediately surrounding the hotel is bare but if you drive less than 2-3 minutes, there’s plenty of restaurants nearby. Amenities in the room were definitely modern and very comfortable and I’m used to 3-4 star hotels and this hotel definitely fits in that range. Breakfast was a bit cold and while complimentary, my sister ended up eating elsewhere as a result. If you’re not picky about breakfast, their offerings suffice. Staff was friendly, room was excellent and I’d definitely stay here again!

Poor Value

The room was very noisy from outside traffic. The windows had very little noise insulation. The room was too hot, then too cold. We will not be staying here again.

On the cusp of being excellent

Pros: rooom, breakfast, location
Cons: cleanliness of sidewalks, and surrounding areas. paint over spray, fit and finish.
Location: outdoors...national parks, state parks, etc.
Our room was very nice...and appeared to have been recently remodeled. The hallways, walkways, etc are not as clean as I would expect based on other reviews...there is something just not quite "excellent". The sidewalks need a good pressure washing, the door on the rooms were retained in the remodel, and some look like they weren't masked off when painted as there is over spray in places...some doors are freshly painted...but dented. There are a few areas where it looks like a rookie did the room remodels, as the fit and finish are not what I would accept in my own home. Our room looks as if it had the door kicked in once and the room locks had to be remounted...again, not done very well. I know this makes me sound like some kind of princess :-)...it was more expensive than a few of my other options and the fit and finish were not quite there. Overall it was clean...the breakfast buffet was good. It could be great with a little work....
