Favorite lake house
We have stayed at numerous houses on Cedar Creek but this was by far our favorite of them all. The location is perfect. Convenient to any store you need. The lot is HUGE and perfect for kids to run and play. You feel so secluded on this property in the best way! The kids loved the tree swing. The house was clean and beautiful. The back porch was comfortable with great shade throughout the day. Nice deep water. Location makes swimming very nice because you don't have alot of lake traffic which is a big plus for us with small kids. We will be staying here again for sure! Not a single complaint!

What a way to kick off the summer!
You guys! This property is...(chef's kiss) amazing. It is decorated so beautifully. We had a group of MANY teen boys and this home fit our needs perfectly. The separate Master Suite was KEY in all of our enjoyment levels. Bring your lawn toys! We had corn hole and spike ball set up in the MASSIVE back yard. The fire pit and fire wood wood were well stocked and perfect for evenings by the fire. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. We needed NOTHING. Thank you thank you thank you. The memories we made and laughs we had were priceless. We'll definitely come back!

Great Stay
This home is lovely. There are minimal stock supplies on hand so bring your own for both the kitchen and bathrooms. Bunk room is very small. However, it is a beautiful property with large grassy yard areas, front, sides, and back. We had a wonderful time and Shari was in close communication. Having two king beds was a plus. The master is large with an equally large bathroom on one side of the house, with a small bathroom alone on the side of the master. It somewhat lent itself to 3 bedrooms sharing one bathroom. You will enjoy. Come prepared.

Beautiful house and awesome lake view
What a great home! The house easily accommodated our family of 11. The home is large and very open flow. Plenty of seating for meals and game nights. Everything we needed was available. My teenage kids loved the bunk bedsroom! The fire pit was a big hit with plenty of firewood available. Fishing was really good and we loved the kayaks! The sunsets and sunrises were amazing. The communication with the host was on point and very proactive. I could go on and on about the house.. We will be back and highly recommend it!

Beautiful lake views!
The house was exactly as pictured. The split master layout works perfectly for two or more families. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Due to weather, we didn't spend much time outdoors, but the large picture windows along the entire back of the house allowed us to enjoy every wonderful view the lake provides. We highly recommend this property!

Property was very well decorated. The host was very responsive to our questions.
The interior design of the property is very nice and everything functioned fine. The hostess was very nice and responded to our questions quickly. There is some room for improvement. The back porch was very dirty. I think the grass had been recently mowed and the porch was covered in grass clippings and dust. Not a huge deal , we found a broom and sweeped it off. No one had obviously cleaned the table on the back porch for sometime because when we wiped it down it the towel was black. Likewise some parts of the house had not been dusted in a while, I.e. brackets holding mirrors in master bathroom, and shelves in second bathroom. Lastly, having stayed at multiple other Vrbo listings we were a little surprised that the house was not stocked with a few basic amenities like Kleenex, shampoo, foil, and some basic spices like black pepper, garlic and onion powder. These were always provided at the other Vrbos we have stayed at so a little surprised they were not there.

Shara and Chris were exceptional hosts. House had easy access in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy access to grocery stores and other essentials 5-10 miles away. The home is very family friendly and plenty of rooms and beds. All the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Having 3 full baths was great. The lake is amazing. So large and not overcrowded. Lake bottom in the area was sandy and comfortable to walk and play. Would recommend highly. We will be back.

Cedar Creek heaven
Our family stayed here for the second year. It is a very nice place. Beautifully decorated and lots of room. A sandy beach and a dock where our kids have caught lots of perch and catfish. Its close to a major road so that is a little noisy but we love it in spite of that. There are huge shade trees and a beautiful big yard for game playing. Our family loves this house!

Loved this property! Perfect view of the lake, very cozy home, and Shari was wonderful with communication the entire time. Some things we thought were nice additions- kayaks in the garage to use, three refrigerators, fire pit for s’mores each night, and a great washer/dryer. This is definitely a property we will book again!

Awesome 4 Bedroom 3 Bath Home
We loved our stay in this beautiful home! Not only was the home really nice, the yard was big with lots of shady areas. There was plenty of parking and a dock that provided a place for us to keep our boat. The back patio was wonderful and it had a gate that kept our 17 month old granddaughter from walking off the porch. Overall, I highly recommend this lake home and we hope to rent it again in the future! It has been our favorite home we have ever rented through VRBO.

Perfect Lakeside House
The house was perfect. It was exactly as described. The house is right at the water's edge which allowed us to sit comfortably on the gorgeous porch and watch the big kids play in the water. The porch itself caters to small children, families and lakeside togetherness. The porch has fans, plenty of seating and a gate that kept our toddler contained. In addition to the porch and water access, the back and side yards are well maintained for a pick up game of barefoot wiffle ball and there are huge, gorgeous shade trees to help keep cool. There's also a swing on one of the trees! The water offered a sandy shoreline with just enough waves to feel beachy. The sand wasn't white and the water wasn't blue, but we didn't come looking for pristine beaches of Mexico. The water did wash up lots of "treasures" so water shoes are a must. We waded and swam for hours on end. This would be a great stop even if you're not up for the water because the inside of the house is comfortable and welcoming. We will be back! Thanks for a great trip.

Family Christmas in Texas!
Shara (and Chris) were wonderful hosts. The entire process of booking, pre-arrival, arrival and departure was effortless. Shara is a fabulous communicator. Our family spent 6 nights watching sunsets paint the sky with an array of magical colors. Lucky for us it was unseasonably warm, toping off at 81* on Christmas day! The pleasant breeze kept us from enjoying the fire pit (safety concerns with the wind). We cooked every meal at the house, and there was plenty of space with 2 indoor dining areas and a large table on the oversize back patio, which is covered! The kitchen is roomy, there are 2 refridgerators, so we used one for beverages and the main one for other pershiables. The bedrooms are spacious, beds are all very comfortable, and the bathrooms are super nice and roomy. We throughly enjoyed the one floor living! Outside is a huge yard, a giant tree that comes with a swing, and of course the dock if you wish to "walk out over the water". I can't say enough about this property or the hosts. Look no further is you want a magnificant place to enjoy lake and sunset views. Thank you Shara and Chris for sharing your home with our family. Highly recommend!!!

Great Lake access.
The beach is great for swimming. Starts out very shallow and gets to about 5 ft at the boat dock. Lots of parking and one of the best houses I have rented on Cedar Creek.

We have rented a number of houses in the Cedar Creek area. Our family has made this an annual summer trip for the last 11 years. This was by far the nicest rental. The place is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedding and towels were great quality unlike most rental properties. The beds were very comfortable. There is a sandy beach and great swimming area. The yard is very large which makes it nice for outdoor games. The only downside to the property is it is very close to the bridge and there is a lot of traffic that is pretty noisy. We had a wonderful time and will be back.

We had a wonderful experience in this lovely home! Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our trip, and we felt well-prepared and very safe with just the two of us. The home is beautifully appointed and offers plenty of room to spread out if you have a larger group. The views make it difficult to decide between the inviting back patio or the bright and open living room and we thoroughly enjoyed both. We came to re-charge and it was everything we hoped for, and more. Highly recommend this beautifully-maintained home and it's thoughtful owner!

Beautiful Home!
Beautifully decorated, high-end home. Great floor plan; Perfect for our 3 families. Great outdoor space with lots of grass for kids to play in! Love that it had a little water access to the side of dock so kids could splash around vs just jump in from dock. We enjoyed our stay and the littles had a great time. Great communication throughout. Their extended family lives next door so it was convenient if we needed anything ASAP. Bridge noise wasn’t too bad either. Great time!! Would stay here again!

Beautiful home on Cedar Creek
We were a family of 10 and this home accommodated us perfectly! We had plenty of beds for all and the beds were so comfy. We had plenty of places to sit and eat and enjoyed sitting out on the patio. We also enjoyed the huge fire pit! The fishing dock is also a great place to sit and watch the beautiful Texas sunset. The kiddos enjoyed riding their skateboard in the driveway and loved playing on the tree swing. The home sits right next to the road but it wasn’t a bother for us ,you couldn’t hear the cars from inside the house. We have stayed at many houses on the lake and several of them have food in the pantry and refrigerator left from previous guest to be used for the next guest. I’m one that doesn’t care for that cause I like to have the room for my stuff. With that being said, you will need to bring everything you need. Including spices and sugar. Both refrigerators are completely empty with plenty of space for food and drinks. I would also suggest if you’re planning on staying a few days, to take extra paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. I do this with every place I rent. The owners do provide some but not enough to last when you are traveling with a large group. I would also suggest grabbing more dish soap. There’s a Walmart before heading to the house. There’s also a gas station at the end of the bridge, by the house, that has lots of things you may need last minute. This home is beautiful and had everything we needed to have a great time! The owner was very nice and easy to work with. We will be back!

Beautiful and Serene - a Respite
An unexpected family trip landed us in this beautiful home. The home's openness, while providing privacy in each separate bedroom gave our family opportunities to gather for meals, visiting, casual conversations while overlooking the gorgeous lakeview, in this most comfortable and peaceful home. I usually select a vacation home based on the bedrooms, and these were perfectly decorated and outfitted. Extremely comfortable and luxurious bedding, fabulous remodeled everything -- bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, eating areas, bedrooms, outdoor amenities, laundry room, etc., etc. The owners were extremely hospitable given our quick need and quick trip -- thank you for being so responsive and flexible. When we have time to plan a fun trip, we will book this home again. We made lasting memories that won't soon be forgotten. Your home was even better than these lovely pictures showed.

Perfect DFW weekend get away!
This property was perfect for the whole family. Easy storage for jet ski, kayak and paddle boarding. Sandy beach enter for kids and a dock to fish from. House was decorated beautifully! And the lake view from the house was what we expected. Perfect! Enjoyed the star filled nights sitting around the fire pit and s’mores to finish off each night. The owner kept in touch constantly and promptly answered any questions or concerns we had. We would not hesitate to return. Also huge football fans and the 65” TV was a plus!

Such a awesome lake house!!! We did a long weekend away and this house was perfect for our group (7 adults and 3 young children). It's BEATIFULLY decorated and the owners really have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We spent two full days at the house and rented the kayaks and paddle boards. The kids even used the little beach entry to play in the water right in front of the house. The back porch is huge and fenced in which was amazing to have with little kids! We loved our stay!!

The perfect girls getaway
This was the perfect location to celebrate a group of friends. The owner was very communicative and always available if we needed anything, even though we didn’t need anything because everything in the house is so well thought out. Beautiful furnishings and linens went right along with the wonderful lake views. Even the bunk beds were comfortable. Our group cooked every meal in the well stocked kitchen that was roomier than it looked the pictures. We would love to stay again!

Perfect House!
This house was perfect for our group! We had a bunch of little kids with us and the water was perfect for them to swim and play in! When we walked into the house the first thing we said was “This is really nice! It’s so gorgeous” and the kids were jumping with excitement. The host was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this home if you’re looking for fun with friends and family!

Amazing lakefront getaway!
This property was beyond perfect for a weekend getaway with some close friends. The views from the back porch are phenomenal. We had plenty of space to spread out in the beautifully decorated house. Everyone fit around both the dining room and outdoor tables for meals. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a lakefront property on cedar Creek.
