Convenient to Central Iowa Airport. Breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffles, rolls, bread, hot and cold drinks.

Check in was a breeze. Fery nice amd friendly staff and the room was large enough to accommodate myself amd children.

Hotel was... ok

Watching the police canine unit search our hotel & other neighboring hortels on our second morning was discurbing & dismaying to say the least. We thougtht we were in a safe neighborhood, but upon talking with someone familiar with the area who said " oh yeah, this happens twice a week here" Not good. Wish there were a way of knowing we would be in a not so secure neighborhood.

The area is safe. The K-9 unit comes though entire area to make sure hotels are free of drugs. ect. this even includes the marriot. This is a tactic the CR police use to make sure all guests are safe

Perfect for an overnight stay

This hotel was great! Well lit parking close to the front door, clean room that looked newly renovated, and good hotel staff! Only complaint was the bed sunk in at the middle, but the rest of the room was perfect!

First & Last experience staying at a Baymont Inn

Came to town for college tour. Hotel did not look anything like the pictures! We booked 2 rooms and requested adjoining rooms -- seems they don't have adjoining rooms. Toilet leaked water from bottom every time it was flushed. Alerted front desk -- they gave me some rags (!) Breakfast was another disappointment, even though other reviews say it was recently improved. Won't ever stay at this hotel chain in the future!

Nice hotel to stay. We stay at this hotel during our trip from Missouri to Minneapolis. Quite, clean, large bathroom.

convenient location for my plans

Pros: location
Cons: carpet shampoo in room
Location: on accessible street next to restaurants.
No problems checking in or checking out. friendly staff.

Pros: close enopugh to other Cedar Rapids attractions/important locations
Cons: better breakfast, update carpet and worn our furniture. make sure plumbing works
the bathtub was dirty and the battub drain did not function well. The furniture and carpet in the room were both well worn. I thougt a 3.5 rating for the hotel held more promise. It was disappointing.
