Comfy and cheap!

This is an older hotel but the beds were nice and they provided a nice breakfast too. Lots of eating and shopping nearby.

We recently took over the property and have converted it to Baymont. As you must have noticed we are undergoing renovation. We are making improvements to expand the breakfast area and lobby and also the room decor per Baymont standards. I hope that you will consider staying with us again to experience "Baymont" hospitality once the renovations are done in next few weeks.

Cheap hotel, nice staff

Pros: Price, friendly staff
Cons: Uncomfortable beds
Stayed overnight at this hotel recently. It was mostly pleasant - they let us in earlier than their posted check-in time, and overall staff was very friendly and pleasant. They were remodeling the lobby and the breakfast nook, so I'm sure that will look very nice soon! The room was also very clean and decently well cared for. For the price, it was an adequate hotel, although I think next time we'll get a slightly nicer hotel... the bed was very uncomfortable and it made sleeping very difficult. Not the worst bed I've ever slept on, but not the greatest.

Pillows

My wife and I like to sleep with more than one pillow for head rest. The hotel only supplies one pillow per person!

Not Well Maintained

The bedspread had ink spots. The carpet in the hallway was dirty. The breakfast was not to my liking and it ended at 9.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Our breakfast hours are 6 AM to 9 AM. We try to start and end at the scheduled time. As for the other items, you must've seen that the renovation work to expand the breakfast room and lobby is currently going on. The rooms are being done too, one floor at a time. Hope you can visit us in few weeks time to check out the improvements.

I got a smoking room when I wanted a non smoking and got charged for both rooms. Had to call back three time until I finally got my money back

Since your booking was done by Online Travel Agent site (Expedia, Hotels.com, Hotwire etc) the booking with the type of the room comes into our system directly from their system. It must be an error on your part that you did not realize that you were booking a smoking room online when you did not intend to. If we have the type of room you need, we can still change but if we did not change it means we did not have the room type you needed at the last minute. As for the credit card charges, again since the booking was made online, the cards are charged accordingly at time of reservation. Since you have not commented on the type of rooms or your stay, I assume that was satisfactory. We do, however, appreciate your business and hope that we have the opportunity to serve you again.
