Close to the University.

Staff friendly and for the most part everything was ok. Breakfast was ok. The room was a little stuffy even with air on. The carpet needed to be a little cleaner. The bathtub was my issue, it wouldn't drain so when you showered you were stepping in dirty water.

Great bargain

Clean, very nice staff. Pool spotless, room as well, free continental breakfast much better then anticipated. It's not fancy, but I'll take clean, inexpensive and friendly service over the glitz.

Visiting Son at College

Posted Mar 14, 2017
Pros: low price and location close to University of Iowa campus.
Cons: Staff should double check functionality of room before releasing it to customers.
Location: Very near University of Iowa campus and nearby many restaurants.
First room had the toilet plugged when we arrived. Desk staff said we could come down to get a plunger, but there was nobody there who could come to room. Asked for and was given another room. The hotel was fine, but is a little older and could use a refresh. Back door did not latch, so security could be an issue.
