It seems this older property is sort of being upgraded. It does need work but was functional and easy for us to be very near a family event in Washington. Our room was quiet and staff was very helpful as needed.

A few minor cleaning oversights (1-2 drops of dried blood not easily noticeable towards the back of the toilet base; one washcloth looked like it had been used to wipe off hair shavings and put back as clean/unused) but these were exceptions as everything else seemed very clean. Was woken up by housekeeping knocking around 8:30 am so recommend putting "Do not disturb" sign on door until you check out. Checking in and out was easy and staff were nice and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if needing accommodations in the area.

Good Place to stay
Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Lots of variety for TV channels. There was no recycling bin, so not so eco-friendly. And one lamp didn't have a light bulb. (I did let them know so they could take care of it.) Breakfast was OK - waffles, cereal, or toast/bagels (no eggs or fruit) But it met my needs for the evening - and the bed was comfy!

Clean, helpful staff
The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed for three nights. The coffee was great. We would stay here again.

I mistakenly left one of my bags at the motel. The staff contacted me by cell phone when it was discovered I had left it. I called them back to tell them I would be back shortly to pick it up. I was very grateful for their extra effort.

Stay away!
Sheets had not been changed, stained and dirty. Do not use the ice machine, dirt on the ice. One positive, no hassel on full refund. Guess they are used to it.

Shower head was not functioning well and the exhaust fan was automatic when I turned on the bathroom light and it was so loud it would wake up my daughter so ended up using the bathroom in the dark. I slipped Getting out of the tub and there was no safety bar. The stairs to the second floor (no elevator) had a broken step at the bottom of the back stairs. The breakfast was very basic and the breads were stale. The staff and cleaning folks were all very friendly and the room was clean
