We booked for a Saturday stay. The water was freezing, fuzz and hair were floating in the hot tub. They double booked our room so we had to wait for another one. The heater in our room didn’t work right and when I went to take a shower there was hair on the wall in the shower. Needles to say we won’t be back

The hot tub was not working, again, upon our 2nd family trip/stay. We had no in-hotel access to ice or amenities, without going outdoors, and entering back into the main portion of the hotel. And there was no in-room telephone, with which to contact the main desk, or anyone at all.

Sorry you feel that way, although we do have internet but with us being out in the middle of nowhere and a full house sometimes it's hard to get on. On the other hand that is why we offer a waterpark, game room, movie room, and live bands all included in your stay. The run down part we are in the middle of remodeling since it is under new ownership please bare with us.

Price was reasonable however the property is in poor condition. They are under a remodel however it appears that has been going on for a long time with little progress. The continental breakfast food is a bar, with everything else to purchase only. At one time this place had to be awesome, just not kept up as quickly as it went downhill. Also very limited staff so if you need anything plan on just going to the front desk.

Will never stay at this property again.
The water park was wonderful however the condition of the hotel was horrendous. Trash everywhere, mattresses in the hallway, dead flies on the window sill, door key pad to building was not working so it was not secure. I understand covid changed type of breakfast served however there was no cream for coffee. For the conditions, $160 was way overpriced, more like a $29 property.

kinda dissapointed
Actual Room was clean and decent. Free breakfast was a few choices of granola bars/packaged pastries/yogurt supposed to be in fridge, but out all three days/ fruit cups, but no spoons, no napkins (even when asked) Lobby restrooms were obviously not cleaned the three days we were there. Not sure how long they have been under the new management, but I was hoping things would have improved as we go the colonies every year at this time. They seemed to be short staffed.

It was okay. Pool and hot tub was nice. Hotel staff were decent. Breakfast was bland and i get covids going on but it could have been better. Game room amny games were busted and our room had no microwave.

There is no elevator and majority of the building looks in poor repair, I'm not sure if this was in the middle of a remodel? Half of the outlets in the room didn't work but apparently they are run by a light switch which would've been more helpful at check-in rather than check-out. The "waterpark" was about half the size pictured and the 2 waterslides weren't monitored by lifeguards, just a TV. Hot tub was nice but overall we've stayed in significantly nicer for less/same cost. Stayed for a girls night out but I wouldn't come back with my kids.

The workers were friendly, however when checked in, was checked in to a room that someone was still in and moved to a room where air conditioning was not working properly, when noticed the air wasn't cooling correctly, called the front desk and was just told. Sorry, asked for a fan, was told sorry there aren't any...was outside to cool off at 3am..my children and I went for a relaxing getaway and couldn't sleep from the room being so hot!

I booked this as a family trip for my little kids because of the water park. Checked in right at 3:00 p.m. only to find out the water park closed 30 minutes before that and was going to be down for days. The hotel was not worth the money as the rooms were dingy and the beds were uncomfortable.

The pool area was okay but could have been cleaner. The Wi-Fi did not work and if you advertise free Wi-Fi it would be a good idea to have it. The play ground equipment was in very bad repair to the point of dangerous.

Hotel was terrible. No working TV, internet did not work, light out in bathroom and bathroom on general was terrible. Asked for late check out and night manager said that was ok. Cleaning staff started at 10 am to get us out. They came back 4 times before noon. Worst hotel that I have ever been in. Will never stay there again.

I was extremely excited to return to this property as I have been coming here since I was a child. The last time I stayed, prior to this trip, was 2015. I could not be more shocked by what I found. To begin with, there is no on site restaurant as stated on the website. There used to be a fantastic restaurant serving all three meals. Now there is a bar, gambling machines, and a pool table. When I asked the bar tender (the most helpful and kind staff member we encountered by FAR during our stay) she shared with us the restaurant was closed. The website only mentions "there will be a limited number of first floor rooms available to reserve due to property renovations". Next, I attempted numerous times to connect to the WiFi. The front desk attendant working at the time, approximately 3:00-4:00 on Wednesday,7/7/2021, could not have been less helpful. I was told that the general manager, Stephanie Stevenson, was in a corporate meeting and "under no circumstances could she be disturbed per Ramada Corporate policy". When I emailed Ms. Stevenson, she replied promptly, however she stated that "I know sometimes different devices will not connect to it (i.e. WiFi). We have no idea why this is but we have been working hard to find out. However we do offer a computer up front". Finally, guests were being allowed to have children swimming in the pool in their underwear until I brought it to the lifeguards attention. These were incredibly disappointing accommodations to say the least.

There was an all out fight outside our window at 3 AM. The phone to call down to the lobby did not work. The wifi did not work. Very dated decor. Would not recommend staying here

I realize renovations are being done, but I think that the room prices should god down until they are completed. I feel like my room I stayed in was one of the renovated ones, but feel like it wasn’t done well. A liner on the tub was placed over the old one. While in the shower it felt and sounded like I was on a waterbed. No fan in the bathroom. A new fridge is needed. The potential is there with this resort, but not in its current state.

I liked the offer of a movie, water park and mini golf(at an extra charge). Unfortunately the lifeguards aren't trained to watch all areas of the water park as they need to be. We had an injury and no life guard around. The continental breakfast had curdled coffee creamer and they ran out of coffee and creamer at 8 am. Continental breakfast was cereal, milk was an extra cost! Dried biscuits and donuts, curdled coffee creamer. I was the last one to get coffee and creamer and couldn't drink the coffee because the creamer was curdled.

An alright stay, but less than expected for cost.
Overall the facility service was good and employees friendly. The facility condition and amenities were quite disappointing compared to what was expected. The facility, both inside and outside, was quite run down and in need of maintenance and repair. The room had multiple deficiencies and seemed in a state of disrepair. Even simple things like a mirror hanging on the wall mounted on crooked were apparent. The water park area was decent but again in disrepair and showing lack of maintenance with areas appearing dated, rusted, or ceiling areas falling apart. The kid pool area was extremely cold for water temperature and we had to take our infant (a little over 1.5 years) out as he was extremely cold. The adult pool area was much warmer. The kids still enjoyed the kid pool. There was a lack of staffing and no attendant at the top of the slide area monitoring or regulating downslide activity. The mini-golf area was poorly maintained and not well kept. The restaurant was closed and other surrounding restaurants were closed. The bar offered limited seating and food options. To find food and dining options, one must drive 15 minutes or so to Williamsburg. The room size was excellent and certainly not anything to complain about. I overall rate the experience as alright due to the generous room size, despite the conditions and disrepair inside and outside the hotel. Overall, I feel the cost was a bit much than what was offered and only justified by the room size itself.

Memories good, service awful
My daughter absolutely loved the water park which made the entire trip worth it. However the service was absolutely horrendous. We waited fifteen minutes at the front desk trying to check out before just leaving the cards and a note. Hotel cleanliness was passable at best. Overall, only worth it because of seeing my daughter so happy in the water.
