Four Points in Center City, Philadelphia

Posted Oct 18, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Better staff and a hotel parking lot.
Location: Plenty of restaurants.
No hotel parking. You need to use a lot adjacent to the hotel. Spaces are marked in the lot for "Hotel Guests". The front desk people fail to inform you to PAY for the parking at a machine in the lot. I got tagged for a $55 fee.

Average hotel, not best area

Posted Oct 11, 2017
The hotel itself was okay. Amenities were good. I was at a conference at the convention center and my only issue was having to walk around that area at night. Several homeless people in the tunnel between the convention center and the hotel; many "loiterers" at night in the block around the hotel. If the hotel were in a different neighborhood it would get better ratings.

Disappointing

Posted Oct 9, 2017
Pros: Shower
Cons: Have lights that can be turned on and off without getting out of bed. Better temperature control
Overhead light bulb in entryway was out so had to use bathroom light. Had to get out of bed to turn off lights. Air conditioner was going full blast even though temperature had dropped to 50 outside. Temperature controls difficult to operate.

City Center

Posted Oct 9, 2017
Four points is located in city center adjacent to China town and next door to the Philadelphia Convention center. I was able to walk to many notable buildings and monuments and also walked one day to the suburbs. This hotel is strategically placed for pleasure or business visits.

The hotel had NO accommodations for parking.

Posted Sep 28, 2017
Pros: The cleanliness
Cons: The hotel should offer validation for hotel stay towards parking. The hotel should offer breakfast if not giving people parking accommodations .
Location: The location was not good . I thought being close to the attractions would be great. The hotel never gave you a good feeling about staying in Philly
I had customer service. The front desk was no very friendly nor the evening staff. I had a phone in my room that was no working. I had to awake at 5am to move my car because of the parking hours. I went to the rest. The breakfast was expensive and did not come with the stay. IWOULD NEVER STAY AGAIN AT THIS HOTEL. They have a deposit for accidentals which the front desk never stated the amount just asked for my debit card. The rudeness of staff , and the parking situation was a horrible stay.

Hole in the wall

Posted Sep 17, 2017
Old run down dirty hotel. Cold staff, no hot water in sink, strangest room set up, needs a paint job & new curtains desperately. Bathroom fixtures falling off the filthy walls. Very unpleasant stay was embarrassed by bringing my son there. Will never ever go back there, felt like I was in prison in my room. Parking was 30.00 & bad breakfast buffet of 12.95 with more unpleasant workers. Couldn't wait to leave & they couldn't even say thank you:/

One complaint I would warn travelers about is that the room had stained comforters on the bed. We called staff in to replace and they acted like stained comforters were normal. Replaced it with another that was better but still not perfect.
