Everything was excellent for the one night we stayed. No cable in room so we couldn't watch tv and vent in bathroom did not work.

Hole in the wall

Posted Sep 17, 2017
Old run down dirty hotel. Cold staff, no hot water in sink, strangest room set up, needs a paint job & new curtains desperately. Bathroom fixtures falling off the filthy walls. Very unpleasant stay was embarrassed by bringing my son there. Will never ever go back there, felt like I was in prison in my room. Parking was 30.00 & bad breakfast buffet of 12.95 with more unpleasant workers. Couldn't wait to leave & they couldn't even say thank you:/

One complaint I would warn travelers about is that the room had stained comforters on the bed. We called staff in to replace and they acted like stained comforters were normal. Replaced it with another that was better but still not perfect.

OK Hotel close to train and bus station

Posted Sep 12, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Just an older facility but maintained
Location: You are within all major attractions 12 Blocks or less. Close to local transportation
Hotel was ok but handy to all local attractions. However there are many homeless people in this area and to access the main street (Market Street) you had to pass under Convention Center; which was dark and full of homeless people. However we did not feel threatened or appeared to be in any danger.

Thank your for staying here at Four Points by Sheraton Philadelphia City Center. It is sad that you were displeased with the location of our hotel. Nonetheless, we hope the quality of services and condition of our guest rooms will bring you back to our hotel on your next trip.

Not what I was expecting for the cost.

Posted Sep 12, 2017
Pros: The front desk was excellent, very helpful with local information and care. Restaurant was late night for delivery, mid-night if I recall.
Cons: Room maintenance for starters. A better deal for parking which should really be included in a hotel stay!
Location: It was centrally located to various Historic sights and activities to do as well as shopping.
The staff I will say is the most redeeming qualities of the hotel. The room was a little small and being next to the ice machine made it noisy. Little to no sound deadening, traffic outside was easily heard and I was on the third floor with the window closed. Was disappointed with seeing the toilet paper holder coming off the wall, showed a lack of upkeep to me. Then no pool when considered a 3 star hotel, not in my book. Then my biggest complaint is no parking! You have to park in the lot across the street with a $35.00 fee for in and out service per day which was never mentioned in Expedia's website until after I made the "non-refundable" purchase in the itinerary. I could have had stayed at a better hotel for actually less money when you count in the extra parking fee.

It was a great stay.. the only thing that was annoying was that the hotel didn't have parking. There was a parking lot across the street but it was $30 dollars for the night, and the hotel didn't offer any voucher for it. I could have spent that extra $30 on a more convienant hotel in the mid city. But regardless, overall the staff was really nice and the room was a perfect stay.

Convenient to conference center, Reading Terminal

Posted Sep 5, 2017
Pros: Flexible public parking options across the street, comfortable room, responsive staff.
Cons: Alter the doors to the rooms so that when the shut on their own it isn't so loud.
Location: Chinatown, Conference Center, Reading Terminal are a block away. The Terminal is convenient for reasonable price meals. City Hall several blocks.
The staff was unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Our room was small but very comfortable, and the location was convenient to the places we needed to get to.
