Excellent location for the price

Posted Dec 13, 2017
I was pleasantly surprised by how close the hotel is to Independence Hall and many of the historical sites in Philadelphia. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The rooms were about what you would expect for the price, not first class but not shabby. I like my mattresses a bit more firm. It is also a pity that their pool is on the roof and not usable out of season, and I found the hotel restaurant disappointing.

Good Location, Ok Hotel

Posted Dec 4, 2017
Cons: Staff could be friendlier - some didn't even crack a smile.
Location: Great location! Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and historic Philly.
Staff was not that friendly. Bathroom could have been cleaned better, under vanity in bathroom and behind toilet were pretty dirty.

Dear Jennifer, Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and my apologies for the issues with your bathroom. I will address that with the housekeeping department today. As for the staff, they are typically overly friendly and helpful so I was surprised to read that they were not. I will address that as well. Again, my apologies. Regards,

Close to restaurants and central to Freedom Hall

Posted Nov 27, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: OVERALL Rooms, hallway carpeting, stucco ceilings????
Location: Excellent, close to Market Street, all trendy restaurants and pubs and close to Freedom Hall and Liberty Bell.
Hotel is not maintained very well. The lobby is nice but the upper floors need improvement, renovation and brought to modern standards. Bathroom sink did not drain well, water pressure in shower very weak, and windows in room are not double panes so you can hear street noise easily, even on 5th floor! I've stayed in better hotels rated less than Wyndham hotels. Parking is expensive. For this dump, parking should be waived~
